My GIS Certificate from the EES Department of UTA covers the four following classes:
1. Geographic Information Systems
2. Analysis of Spatial Data
3. Remote Sensing Fundamentals
4. Geographic Data Analysis
The software and applications I used are as follows:

ArcMap
ArcScene
ArcGlobe
ArcCatalog
ArcGIS Online Platform
ESRI Online Platform
ArcGIS Spatial Analyst
ArcGIS 3D Analyst
ArcGIS ModelBuilder
Google Earth
The concepts that I learned are as follows:
Data management
Data editing
Geocoding
Spatial Analysis
Spatial Modeling
3D Mapping and Visualization
Complete Map Building
Projection and Coordinate Systems
GIS Layers (creating and editing)
Attribute Statistics
3D Analysis
Remotes Sensing
Topographical Surface Analysis

GPS data
Raster
Feature class
TINs
layer files
ESRI data
LiDAR data
Hyperspectral, Thermal, and
Multispectral Remote Sensing Data
DSM files
My final project allowed me to create raster data, layer data, feature classes, and DSM files from
one set of LiDAR data. I also learned how to use Google Earth as a basemap.
The statistics that I employed were area estimations, solar radiation modeling, and PV potential
for the UTA campus.
