General Education is the core curriculum which promotes academic resilience by providing the
skills necessary for students to succeed in their undergraduate areas of study, build connections
across disciplines, and adapt to a rapidly changing job market and world.

10. BUILDING A
SCHEDULE
• Full Time Student is 12 credits
• The average credit load is 15 credits per semester. This is based
on a 4 year graduation plan while taking courses fall and spring.
• (5-7 classes)
• BSU has banded tuition (12-18) for no additional cost
• Plan on a minimum of 2 hours for study/prep/research per credit.
• Example: A 3 credit class would be 6 hours of studying per week.
• Last day to modify class schedule is August 30

• Official communication after initial enrollment is sent to your BSU
student email account.
• To make sure you are up to date on BSU communications, we
recommend you sync BSU Email to a personal devise.
