5. The Hearts of Europe program, is joint funded partnership between the
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Rotary
International that aims to foster collaboration, networking, and
friendship among Rotary clubs in select Central and Eastern European
countries and the United States.

of Hearts of Europe Program
Cross Country Relationship Building
• The international sponsor of the
grant project must be a club or
district in the U.S.
• At least one U.S. Rotarian must travel
to the project and meet with host
Rotary members
Youth Mentorship
• The Host sponsors must involve
Rotaractors in project process
