Richard has performed an important and hugely valuable role for Camden CCG over
the past 6 months - in the development and production of the CCG's annual
Operating Plan (OP).
His work has involved the co-ordination and programme management of the
numerous aspects and components of the OP. We have particularly benefitted from
Richard's knowledge and experience of what a good OP looks like and what is
required - including in an environment of complex and changing (sometimes at short-
notice) requirements from regulators. Richard's work has gone beyond overseeing
the production of core OP requirements - and also included producing an
overarching narrative for the OP - that supports and complements the CCG's other
strategic plans.
Richard shows good flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude. He shows good attention to
detail (important in the programme management of OPs) but at the same time he
works with a view to ensuring the necessary strategic alignment. He also shows
good awareness of the need to link with the the CCG's wide variety of internal and
external stakeholders.
He is a good communicator and is comfortable presenting to a full range of
audiences. His written work is both clear and comprehensive - and he is comfortable
working in new environments.
Richard's work has culminated in Camden CCG producing a robust, comprehensive
and to-time Operating Plan for 2016/17.
