2. SANTHALS TRIBE
Santhals are the third largest tribe in
India. They are mostly found in states
of West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa,
Jharkhand and Assam. Santhals
speak Santhali, Bengali, Oriya and
Hindi. Santhals have long head and
flat nose. Their complexion varies
from dark brown to black in colour.
They usually have curly hair.
3. Santhals fulfill their basic needs
from the trees and plants of the
forests. They have great skill in
making musical equipments,
mats, baskets out of the plants.
They love dancing. After the long
day hard work, they relax
themselves with the music and
dance.
