I have successfully completed my six weeks internship at Pakistan Refinery Limited. I worked
at Process & Oil Movement department. I performed project on calculation of heat duty on
batteries of heat exchangers present on CDU. I learned about HSE & Fire Fighting at PRL. I
learned all process and operating procedure involved in supply & oil movement department.
I learned about issues & Receipt calculation at Kamari terminal. I also worked on optimization
of Gasoline pump and calculated NPSHa to avoid the cavitation. I also calculate pump
efficiency and volume expansion in summer.
Summer 2013 Fatima Fertilizer Company Ltd, Sadaqabad
I have successfully completed my six weeks internship at Ammonia & urea production plant.
I learned about primary Reformer, Secondary Reformer, HTSC, LTSC, Gas Absorption &
Ammonia Synthesis reactor at Ammonia plant. I learned all the operating procedure of urea
production. I worked on optimization of prilling tower to maintain the standard size of urea
prillls. I made material balance of urea plant.
