• Convert the Silica Ore to Metallurgical –grade silicon by using carbo-thermal process.
• Use semen's process to convert Silicon from Metallurgical-grade to Photovoltaic –grade.
• Using a charcoal without sulfur content in reacting with silica in arc furnace step .
• Investigated the effects of various parameters on unit productivity both experimentally and theoretically.
• Achieved an excellent agreement between the theory and the experiments.
• The capital investment is 3 MM , The payback period is 3.5 years and the Return on Investment before taxes is 76%
