Final Year Project: “Re-refining 1500 tone/year of waste lubricating oil to produce base oil”
Re-refining of used lube oil is an economically attractive recycling method in terms of resources
conservation and environment protection. It allows processing of hazardous material in a safe and
effective way to recover a high quality oil product.
Operations involved are Dehydration, Gas oil removal, Vacuum distillation and Hydro-treatment.
