Responsibilities:
Having implemented nearly about 20 Energy conservation projects, trained around 20 executives for
monitoring and controlling energy consumption in Utility equipments.
1. Trained End-users (process personnel) about the utilities generation, distribution and its potential
of energy reduction through effective utilization of utility service.
2. Driving the department towards Objective, Goal and Plan in various activities for the reduction of
Expenditure, Production downtime and Safety incidents.
3. Developing excellent safety culture amongst utility personnel and contractors by conducting
world class safety consultant’s (DuPont) safety tools such as safety observation audit, Process
Hazard Analysis, Job cycle check, Job safety analysis, Mechanical Integrity, Incident
investigation reports, etc.
4. Purchase transactions through SAP, conducting regular meetings for Inventory reduction
involving senior management team.
Functional Experience:
Utility Maintenance of Bulk drug production unit, Refrigeration systems of very low temperature (up
to -70°C) and total capacity of 6000TR, De-Humidifiers, Cooling towers (of total capacity 8000TR),
Purified water system, Water treatment, Air handling unit, HVAC, Powder processing equipment,
Effluent treatment, process equipments such as Centrifugal pump, Dosing pump, Blower,
Compressor, Vacuum pump, Heat Exchanger, mechanical seal, Filter, Valve, Steam Jet ejector,
Pressure vessel, etc.
Steam generation Boilers (of total capacity 63 Ton/hr) comprising Coal fired and Furnace oil fired,
equipped with imported burners with optimum efficiency.
System implementation & can effectively use ERP-SAP system (PM module) for maintenance
functions like attending breakdown, preventive maintenance, expenditure control, work study,
inventory, history maintenance, maintenance budgeting.
Planning and implementation of shut down, breakdown and routine maintenance activities. Failure
analysis & corrective action implementation / proposals & Implementation of preventive & predictive
maintenance.
Implementation of modifications (estimating & executing) as per process requirements.
Conducting SOP training programs, Safety-tool box talkies and technical programs for technicians.
Review and updating of ISO 9001:2000, & 14001 documentation.
Safety procedures & implementation to technicians with DuPont training knowledge.
Indigenization & Value engineering analysis of spares based on ABC analysis.
