This topic "Global Warming" has become hot issue all over the world these days. This slide let you know about the causes, effects and resolutions about global warming..It will make us aware about how our future generation can adjust in such a climate which is much hotter than it is now. :)

3. Introduction: What is Global
warming?
๏ต An average increase in the temperature of
the atmosphere near the Earthโs surface and
in the troposphere1, which can contribute to
changes in global climate patterns

4. Causes of global warming
๏ต Burning of fossil fuels
(Coal/Crude oil)
๏ต Power plants๏ generate electricity
๏ต Transportation ๏ fuels for transports
(E.g. LPG, kerosene, fuel oil)
๏ต Industrial processes (E.g. manufacture
of cement, steel, aluminum)
๏ต Greenhouse gases emission
๏ต Agriculture
๏ต Forestry
๏ต Waste management
5. Serious cause is Green House Effects
๏ต Green house gases acts like a mirror which reflect
a part of heat radiation back to the earth.
6. Deforestation
๏ต the state of being clear of trees.
๏ต It is an activity of cutting out trees in
the forests in with the purpose of
development of that particular place,
resourcing the raw material to process
goods like papers.
๏ต Deforestation leads to less carbon
dioxide (CO2) being absorbed and
causing much more of the greenhouse
gases.
7. Effects of Global warming
๏ต Sea level rising - rising at an average
rate of 1 - 2
mm/year over the past 100 years
๏ต Direct Temperature Effects - Harmful to
those with heart problems, asthma, the
elderly, the very young and the
homeless
๏ต Climate-sensitive diseases - E.g. Malaria,
dengue fever, yellow fever, encephalitis
Diseases , cholera accompanying algal
blooms become more frequent
๏ต Air Quality - Harmful for those with
asthma and other chronic lung diseases
๏ต Food supply - Increasing risks of
malnutrition
8. Contโฆ
๏ต Population displacement -Rising sea levels which
increase the risk of coastal flooding
๏ต UV Exposure
๏ต Skin Cancer - an abnormal growth of skin tissues.
๏ต Premature aging - make the skin thin, wrinkled,
and leathery
๏ต Cataracts - No longer have transparent lenses in
their eyes
๏ต Suppression of Immunity
๏ต UV-B radiation weakens the immune system ๏
increases the chance of infection and
disease

9. Resolutions For Global warming
๏ต Government
๏ต set some laws to limit the amount of
pollutants produced by factories
๏ต develop the skills of using renewable
fuels, e.g. solar energy, wind energy
๏ต encourage the factories to replace fossil
fuels by renewable fuels, which would not
cause environmental pollution
๏ต carry out energy saving scheme โ
reduce the pollution produced by
burning fossil fuels
๏ต build more plants โ reduce the
pollutants e.g. CO2
10. ๏ต Citizens
๏ต reduce the use of plastic bags โ as
burning plastic emit CH4
๏ต recycle the resources, e.g. plastic ,
bottles .
๏ต reduce the use of air-conditioner,
which will emit CFCs
๏ต use public transportation instead of
private cars โ reduce the pollutants
emitted by cars
11. Conclusion
The earth is too old to stand up
through this phenomena. IF we want to
live longer, to be safer and in good
health we must protect our
environment.
