The portrayal of X as one of the eight evil gods of destruction in the sequel

less than one out of every six million deliveries goes amiss. Since the publication of the
article in Forbes in 1998, the X have been the darlings of the international media scene.
They have been visited by Prince Charles and Richard Branson, who worked as one of
them for a day. They have also been studied by management schools around the world,
all keen to learn just how they do it. Consisting of 5,000 members, the X collect the filled
“package” from homes all across a particular city and deliver them to the requisite offices
by 12.30pm, traversing the length of the city via the train system. At 2pm they retrieve the

estimated 260,000 transactions in a city of 10.5 million people, accurately and on time.

This auditory illusion X initially became popular on Reddit in 2018. We could say it
was the audio equivalent of 'the dress,' which was a different illusion that went viral
around 2015.
X is a short audio recording in which one of two words is heard, with the outcome
differing from person to person.
Some people might hear the word ‘A,' while others would hear the word ‘B', and still
others would hear both. The majority of the time, elderly persons heard ‘A' (this is
because their capacity to hear higher frequencies has deteriorated) while the others
heard ‘B.' On scientific analysis, it was found that the poor audio quality and mixed
sounds led to the ambiguity.
Which auditory illusion am I talking about? OR Give me ‘A’ and ‘B’.
Brownie points for explaining ‘the dress’.

The Modern Pentathlon is an olympic sport which consists of five different events
namely, freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, fencing and a final combined
event of pistol shooting and cross country running.
Boris Onischenko is a former Soviet modern pentathlete who competed at the 1968,
1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics. The reason I say ‘former’ is not because he retired, but
because he cheated and was handed a lifetime ban. Now, what Boris did is use
electrical engineering in an innovative way, making him almost unbeatable. Which was
unusual/exceptional for a 38 year old athlete.
So which sport did you think he cheated in and how exactly did he cheat? Also, due his
dishonest practices, he was dubbed Boris _____________ by the media.

“If the sleeper perceives that he is asleep, and is conscious of the sleeping state
during which the perception comes before his mind, it presents itself still, but
something within him speaks to this effect: ‘The image of Koriskos presents itself,

Well, let’s just say Aristotle knew about it before Inception made it cool.

This particular 2011 Bollywood movie, co-produced by Aamir Khan was a topic of
interest due to its controversial song. A particular phrase used in the song(albeit very
smartly) stirred up a controversy leading to the Information and Broadcasting
ministry asking the Central Board of Film Certification (Censor Board) how the song
was cleared for general viewing without a single cut. People were fuming over the
lyric/phrase that sounded obscene when played in loop.
However, the production cheekily replied, “______ is just a name. Some people are
capable of seeing abusive language in everything. It depends on how your mind
works. We can't help it”.
It was the film writer Akshat Verma who came up with the idea of using the key
phrase.

On August 6 and 9, 1945, the United States developed two atomic bombs: X, an enriched
uranium gun-type fission weapon (also the first nuclear weapon used in warfare), and Y, a
plutonium implosion-type nuclear weapon, which were dropped on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, respectively.
P, piloted by Colonel Paul W. Tibbets, Jr. and Captain Robert A. Lewis, dropped X, while Q,
piloted by Major Charles Sweeney, dropped Y.
The bombing's aftermath resulted in radiation poisoning, such as atomic bomb disease,
which elevated cancer risks, birth deformities, and severe mental retardation, among other
things. This year marked the 76th anniversary of the devastating nuclear attack on Japanese
cities.

When we hear the word ‘Curie,' the first thing that springs to mind is probably
‘radioactivity'. However, Pierre and Jacques Curie are also well known for their work
on piezoelectricity.
Now, a particular device works on the principle of piezoelectricity (conversion of
mechanical stress into electric signal). The arrangement is such that when we press
the ‘trigger’, a hammer gets pushed, hitting the piezoelectric crystal which leads to a
high voltage electric discharge in the small gap between two metallic points placed at
the lighting end, resulting in the air present in the small gap getting ionised, leading to
an electric discharge. This electric discharge does the work we need.
The working of which device is mentioned above OR Name the device.

This 1960s project named ‘X’ examined the feasibility of building a nuclear-pulse rocket
powered by nuclear fission. It was carried out by physicist Theodore Taylor and George Dyson
among others over a seven-year period, beginning in 1958, with United States Air Force
support. The propulsion system advocated for the spacecraft was based on an idea first put
forward by Stanislaw Ulam and Cornelius Everett in a classified paper in 1955. Ulam and
Everett suggested releasing atomic bombs behind a spacecraft, followed by disks made of solid
propellant. The bombs would explode, vaporizing the material of the disks and converting it
into hot plasma. As this plasma rushed out in all directions, some of it would catch up with the
spacecraft, impinge upon a pusher plate, and so drive the vehicle forward.
Ultimately the project was disbanded due to concerns over radioactive fallout and was also
overshadowed by ‘The Moon Race’.
ID X.
Now the name ‘Dyson’ is also known to be related to a hypothetical megastructure that
completely encompasses a star and captures a large percentage of its power output, Y.
