o Gather shopping carts from parking lots, sweep and mop floors, assist in the prompt
clean up of spills and other general housekeeping duties.

o During my junior and senior of high school, I applied for and was accepted into a
nine-month college pipeline program hosted by the University of Washington Foster
School of Business. Students attend sessions on the UW campus one Saturday every
month for college preparation, business lectures, professional development, and
mentorship from Foster Business School undergrads as well as executives throughout
the business community.

o Is a membership organization dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders
by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service,
philanthropic giving, and civic duty.
• Ace Mentor Program
o ACE stands for Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. The ACE program helps
to mentor high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and
construction. This program is mentored and sponsored by professional architects,
engineers, and builders throughout the Pacific Northwest.
