Roles and Responsibilities:
• Report to Assistant Security Manager.
• An active role to conduct security patrolling using road vehicle along viaduct and physical
inspection of all buildings i.e. Annex, TPS (Traction Power Substation), MPS (Main Power
Substation) and EEP (Emergency Egress Point) to ensure the safety & security of the assets.
• Ensure all EEPs not blocked, free from any hazard and well illuminated in order for their
safe use during evacuation.
• Conduct monthly inspection of Intrusion Alarm System locking mechanism while
coordinating Security Controller to confirm the correct function of all devices.
• Report all unauthorized vehicle parked under viaduct and within 5 meters premises to
Operation Control Centre.
• Deal with all unattended items as per work instruction within Dubai Metro premises.
• Check all work documents to ensure legitimacy of activity within Dubai Metro premises.
• Check all PTW (Permit to Work), NOC (No Objection Certificate) are valid and not forged.
• Ensure work is done as per RTA railway safety standard and all safety measure in place.
• Inspect all work related tools and equipment/gears etc. tested & rated for desired work.
• Ensure station surroundings, entrances safe to use and report any vandalism.
• Supervise all safety critical activities i.e. main line access through EEP etc. and ensure the
entry point has been secured before leaving the site.
• Report all faults, damages, incident & accident to Operation Control Centre.
• Dealing all incoming and outgoing deliveries as per the work instructions.
• Managing all keys at Depot and send monthly key inventory to Security Manager.
• Obtain fault no. against reported fault and maintain fault log for reference.
• Challenge to the presence of suspicious person within Dubai Metro premises and report.

Responsibilities;
• Daily inspection of entire station including all public and nonpublic area to ensure the
security.
• Ensure all nonpublic area remained locked all the time and access controlled as per
instruction.
• Notify all fault, malfunction of equipment, damage and unsafe condition to report for
rectification.
• Ensure public normal access areas are free from any hazard and easily accessible.

• Ensure smooth flow of passengers through fare gates and stop tailgating.
