The aim of this study is to provide information useful for medical programme to
produce a global doctor.
Research Questions
1. What is the opinion of medical students on “global doctor” concept?
2. What are the perceived learning opportunities of medical students during
Phase I and Phase II of the medical programme to be a global doctor?
3. Why do medical students engage in these opportunities?
4. How do medical students engage in these opportunities?
5. Do medical students aware of the global, regional and national situation
demand for global doctor?
6. Do medical students have perceived competencies to be a global doctor
7. What is the motivation of medical students to be a global doctor?

Students' emphasis on formal learning only ( rephrase the
guide and clearly state formal and informal learning in
guided questions)

faculty ( rephrase the guide question to "Does your
country need global docotor? Why Why not instead of
"Does the global docotor conecpt applicable to your
country )
Phase I prgoramme includes some activities properly
designed to stimulate the students to learn local anguage
and culture

Some students are accessible to internet via
mobile and my PIS is long so cannot open
Some students are used to SMS rather then
email communication so it took 3-4 days to
reply my test email
