MY PROFILE
I am a young man of about 43years old. I hailed from Ibadan, Oyo State, happily married
with three (3) children,
I was inducted as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, after passing each of the four examination
stages of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigerian, consecutively at one sitting from
November 1999 – May 2001. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, PGD in Marketing
and currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration (PT), at University of
Lagos.
I started my working carrier with an Audit firm as an Audit Trainee and I later joined the
service of University Press Plc, Jericho, Ibadan (Formally Oxford University Press UK)
where, within Ten (10) years, I rose through the ranks to become a Senior Accountant. While
in Finance Department of University Press Plc, I worked in the Treasury, Royalty,
Overheads, Salaries, Cost and Management Account Sections. I was re-deployed in 2007 to
the Marketing Services Department as a Product Manager, the position I held till my
resignation in 2009. Finance Team under my supervision were twenty-one (21), including the
depot accountants who were not resident at the head office.
In March, 2009, I joined the service of Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, Ibadan (a brand
name of Kakanfo Enterprises Limited) as the Principal Manager (Finance and Marketing) and
within five years, I rose to the level of a General Manager (Finance / Operations). The team
members under my supervision at Kakanfo Inn were about 80, of which accounting staff
were twelve (12).
I am currently the head of Finance at Platinum Samandy Group, at Coscharis Building, 64
Adeola-Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, a company operating in the Oil and Gas Service
sector, having the International Oil Companies (IOCs) as clients.
