Edit and rewrite articles, organise and refine articles with the aim to convey, in the
simplest way possible, the matter on which an article has been written. The articles
I have been rewriting and editing over the years have included subjects as varied
as technology, IT/ITeS, all sciences, all business verticals that are prominent in
Bengaluru and Karnataka, and South India.
Write special stories covering ISRO, aerospace, defence, healthcare, technology-
related matter among others.

2. Also contribute regularly to a column on op-ed page called 'Chinese Whispers’
Plan and design pages
Co-ordinate with other centres, outstation correspondents, especially those from
smaller cities and advising them on the kind of reports they should work on and to
keep them motivated.
I had joined Business Standard as a senior sub-editor on July 21, 2004. I was
then promoted as a chief sub-editor and then became an assistant news editor
before being promoted to the post of deputy news editor.
