Description : Suppliers in GO are maintained with 5 digits but for new country Suppliers fed
into the system will be ranging from 1 to 10 digits thus, this requirement has stored procedures which are
called by IL using XML document as input. In GO the received supplier number is converted into GO
supplier number, orders gets generated and the supplier number is retained as received, in the output.

Description : To enable Distribution Centres to ship goods to far store first and near stores
Later within the shipping window. This will help Distribution Centres adhere to the shipping
schedule of far stores without having to wait to pick for the near stores.
The recommended solution was to create separate purchase orders from the same
order run for different stores based on their distance from the supplying Distribution Centre, by
creating near and far groupings. A separate purchase order and the associated stock order
(allocation) will be generated for far stores and a different purchase order and the associated
stock order (allocation) for ‘Near’ stores are created and sent to the supplier and the Distribution
Centre.
