lowerprices.TherearealotoffamousmarketsinBangkoklikeChatuchak,Banglamphu,Bangrak,Pratunam,
Pahurat, Bo-Bae and Nakhon Kasem.
The main products on sale at each market are different, for example, Chatuchak weekend market of-
fersvisitorshouseholdthings,books,arts,handicrafts,antiques,music,clothes,food,plants,flowersandlive
animals, etc. Bangrak Market sell flowers, fruit, clothes, meat and seafood while Pahurat Market offers you
all kinds of clothing.
1. Read the text. Pupils listen and read silently. Ask if they can work out the meaning of new words
andtheirclasses(nouns,adjectivesandverbs,etc).Explainthesewordsanddochoralandindividual
repetition.
2. Read the text again while pupils listen and say. Ask the class to read the whole text chorally.
