3. Sector Cid Base which is a comprehensive and enriched database that includes
information about all customers and products in the U. S. Consumer Bank including
branch products, bankcards, student loans, investments, insurance, and mortgage
products.
Sector Cid Base captures daily and monthly feeds from processing systems across the
bank and builds a very large "data warehouse" to make it easy to access this
information. Sector Cid Base receives information from more than 30 internal Citibank
files as well as external information used to enhance the database.
This information is used by Marketing, Finance and Credit, as well as other analytical
and sales areas, requiring various views on the banks status and trends. The information
is housed for a 24-month period, in order to allow for patterns to emerge on product
and customer activity.
Role :
