22. DIFFERENCE WHEN TRACKING THE SAME
KEYWORD IN DIFFERENT MARKETS
• There's not much of a difference in the keywords ranking for the selected keywords
• The difference in the remaining keywords rank can be because of the different geographical location
and the search preferences of the people living in those countries.
For example, People of Canada may be more interested in the weather-related news during winters and
of US will be more interested in political news
• Also, the difference in search terms by people of different countries varies
For example, People of Brazil don’t use terms like ‘read blogs online’ or ‘news articles online’ rather they
use ‘news aggregator’ or ‘rss reader online’. Whereas in Germany people would use ‘blogs’ but not
‘articles’. Also, people in Mexico would search for ‘news aggregator’, ‘rss feed reader’ and not search for
‘news feed app’ or ‘news articles online’.
