My name is Po-Hung Chen, from Taipei, Taiwan. I graduated from University of
Kaohsiung and my major was in applied economics. There are four members in my
family, my parents, my elder brother and me. As a sales representative, my father
works in the business company. My mother runs her own business herself at home.
As a researcher, my elder brother works for food manufactory. I’m a responsible
person. If someone gave me missions, I do my best and complete them perfectly.
When facing difficulties, I always try my best to overcome those difficulties with my
positive attitude. In order to reach the goals of tasks, I find all solutions as possible as
I can to complete the missions. I am not tired but happy when I have to finish my job.
The main reason is that I believe I can learn a lot of different things from different
kinds of jobs. I am not a good leader but also a great coworker so that my team and I
can work our jobs more efficiently. I believe that these advantages not only can
complete works’ goals efficiently and get along with colleagues comfortably but also
complete all tasks perfectly.
In college period, I was so owner to be selected as class leader. At that time, I learned
a lot of administration works and scheduling jobs. Besides, I felt so thankful that my
classmates all trusted me to give me this chance to serve them. In academy field, I
always did my best job to figure out problems which I found not only in textbooks
but also research. In most time, I loved to discuss the economics problems with
professors and my classmates. Moreover, I loved to learn a lot of economics models
to apply in reality so that the issues of society can be fixed sometimes. I strongly love
my academy field and, therefore, enjoy my learning path. Fortunately, I got the
second semester-semester result in the second place and 3.6/4 GPA.
When I was an undergraduate student, I enjoyed a lot of activities in the campus. For
example, I join the badminton team of my economics department. At that period, I
learned how to use the strategies to win the games. The most important thing I
learned is that I could cooperate with my teammates very comfortably and efficiently.
When I was third grade, I was responsible for assisting and teaching other members
in department team. We won the third prize at that time.
I created a group which my high school alumni in my campus in order to make the
relationship of alumni more closely. I held the activity called ‘’run run go’’ with other
university students who were in the same high school. That was meaningful because
we wanted to celebrate our high school 80th anniversary. Same period, I devoted
myself to enjoy the voluntary activities such as recycle helping and children caring.
These pleasure experiences are really helpful for me to improve.
In 2014 summer vacation, I had a chance to enjoy the work and travel program. I
worked at six flags great America at Gurnee, Illinois. I was a clerk and also a food
server. At that time, I had to learn a lot of things such as food making and money
security process. Fortunately, I met my nice supervisors and coworkers. They taught
me all things and took me to experience different kinds of culture experience. They
often spent their time to hang out with me and took me to the beach where was
famous spot. After work, I traveled to Chicago, Boston, New York and Orlando. I met
a lot of new friends when I traveled. Although I faced a lot of unpredicted trouble, I
still enjoyed my trip and overcame those staffs. This experience helps me to enhance
my social and communication ability.
In 2015, I was so glad to have a chance to enter the Fubon Security Bank summer
internship program. I remembered that my supervisors and managers spent their
pleasure time to held the class and program to me. At that time, I learned much a lot
of financial management, investment, stock analyses, futures and options, mutual
funds analyzes, and products inducement courses. Besides, they also spent a lot of
time to discuss my future career planning. I felt really thankful what I experienced. At
last, my supervisor gave me a great complement with certification.
In the future, I hoped I can not only contribute my economics knowledge in my
career field but also cooperate with my coworkers smoothly. In my career path, I am
sure that I will improve my skills such as communication and leading. I expect I can
become a part of members in my future career easily and help my company to reach
the goal efficiently. As a result, I try my best to devote myself to improve career and
society.
