I am honoured and humble to bring to your notice that
the Naginimora Women Department had achieved a milestone
in celebrating its Silver Jubilee during my tenure as a Women
Pastor. It is the miraculous work of God Almighty that had
helped us in achieving this fate and I owe every little success to each and every member
of my church for the encouragement guidance and selfless physical and moral support.
It is my humble prayer to continue supporting me in rendering my services to god

Police Baptist Fellowship in general and all

the Naginimora Police Baptist Fellowship Women
Department (NPPFWD) on this auspicious
occasion of celebrating God’s faithfulness for the past 25th
years.
Jubilee is a reminder that we have come a long way in terms of our existence and
it is now time to evaluate where we stand as the Church of God, our vision and mission
should be clearly spelled out.
Jubilee is the right to question ourselves as to whether we are living out our lives
a matured believers of Christ Jesus.
Through this jubilee, let us live a reconciled life with God and with our fellow

Firstly, greetings to you all in the name of our
ALMIGHTY GOD. Today as I sat down to
pen down a few lines about Naginimora Police
Baptist Women celebrating the
25th
Years Silver Jubilee on ……………………
Its flashes me back to the days when I used to pray to God with Tears for the
establishment of the very Fellowship 25 years back.
Now, when I look into the growth of Naginimora Police Baptist Fellowship
spiritually, I stand in Awe and thank the Almighty for accepting my humble prayer and
brought us this far.
Lastly, but not the least I would like to thank every individual whether from
General Board, Women Department, Youth Department or Child Department Etc for you
valuable contribution to uplift Naginimora Police Baptist Fellowship spiritually.

6. BRIEF HISTORY OF NPBFWD
Naginimora Police Baptist Fellowship was established on 26th August 1990, under which
the Women Department was formed on 31st March 1991, under the Women Leader
Incharge of Mrs. Soni Singson. At first, Women Dept was formed with 7(seven) active
working members namely-
1. Women Leader - Mrs. Soni Singson
2. Secretary - Mrs. Achila Khiam
3. Deaconess - 1) Mrs. Achong Haokip
2) Mrs. Lutsolo Lotha
3) Mrs. Lechelo Lotha
4. Chowkidar - Mrs. Alen Phom
5. Women Treasurer - Mrs. Lengo Konyak
There were nearly 12 members in Women Dept. Those women have played an
important role in progressing towards NPBF women Dept. Once they started the women
fellowship there were no funds or property. In due course the women began to bring their
offering to the church at the time of women fellowship. The first offering they collected
was Rs. 17.1 paise only, and later on the amount was increased to Rs. 308/- which they
donated for church construction.
In the year 1991, under the women leader incharge Mrs. Imlita, they practiced and
kept the charity box in every police families for Women Dept Fund: In order to develop
the Women Fellowship, they started to do Fund Raise. Fund raising is an area in which
NPBF Women Dept have been active. Their funds were raised by various means like
Special sales, the offerings collected at the Weekly Fellowships, Offering in kinds
(Vegetables, animals, handicrafts etc). Handful of Rice collection, Wage earning, Hen
Collection and Charity Box. They have adopted various means of raising funds for
different purpose.
From the time, the Women Dept was formed, visiting and giving of certificate to
new born babies was practiced and also they started to celebrate the Father’s Day. So, far
the women Department is very active in development activities. NPBF Women Dept is
continuing to grow and progress. It carried out many programs at both Women
Fellowship and also for NPBF.
From the above, it is obvious that there have been a number of ways in which
women’s have improved, more and more women are coming forward and actively
involved in the ministry of the church till date. Presently, we have a theological
background Women Pastor and increasing by 49 number of Women Membership. The
achievements were considerable and certainly made a significant contribution in building
the status of NPBF Women Department.

7. Since the year 1991 the Women Department has been doing the following the
following activities on the continuous basis Viz.
1) Home Visit.
2) Hen Collection.
3) Handicraft collection.
4) Charity Box collection by House.
5) Every Friday Evening prayer Service.
6) Sales Day.
7) Christening certificates issued for every child born.
8) On every first day of the month the Women Department collects the charity box
kept at the police check gate.
9) Modi rice Collection.
10) Father’s day programme.
11) Every first day Women Service.
8. Programme and Activities done by women department from 1991 till date:-
1) In the year 1991, the New year feast was hosted by women department.
2) In the year 1994, Christmas feast was hosted by Women Department.
3) In the year 2011, Women Department organized a seminar on the theme “Discovering
self” , speaker Rev. Kilang Jamir 4th
– 6th
Nov.
4) In the year2014, Women Department Organised And Conducted VBS from 3rd
– 6th
April, with a theme “ You are the light of the world”. The Speaker for VBS was Mr.
Yeihwang Ky. (Touring Evangelist).
5) In the year 2014, Women Department went for an exposure trip to Guwahati from 12th
–
15th
October.
6) In the year 2015, Women Department organized and conducted a Women Seminar Cum
Spiritual Awakening” from 10th
– 12th
April. The speaker was Mr. Lima Imsong.
7) In the year 2015, Christmas feast was hosted by Women Department.
8) On 14th
April the Women Department held flower plantation day for the church.
9) Talent Share group.
9. Donation made by Women Department:-
1) In the year 2002, Women department help the church by donating Rs. 10,000/- , 3 Bags
of Rice and 6 pcs of tribal shawl, during church building.
2) NPBF Child teacher salary was donated by Women department for the entire year
(2008).
3) In the year 2010, Women department donated 1 (one) Godrej Almirah to Youth
Department.
4) In the year 2011, Women department donated 2 (two) mirrors, one for check post and
one for thana and 1 wall clock each to Church, checkpost and police thana.
5) In the year 2008, Women department donated Rs. 10,000/- during the construction of the
police check gate.
6) In the year 2015, Women department donated and contributed Rs. 40,000/- during
Pastor resident construction.
7) In the year , Women department donated/contributed Rs. 50,000/- during Guest House
construction.
8) In the year , Women department donated Rs. 30,000/- while constructing the church
Bathroom and Toilet.
9) In the year 2013, Women department hosted and offered the feats during the Women
Pastor residence dedication.
10) In the year 2014, Women department gave Rs. 5,000/- to Headquater Women
department, as a donation for their new vehicle.
11) Women department bought one sintex for Youth Pastor on 2015.
12) In the year 2015, NPBF Women department donated/contributed the whole year salary
of Hauthahoti Women Pastor, Secretary, Chawkidar as a mission work in Hauthahoti.
13) In the year 2013, Women department conducted the 1st
Mission Sunday programme. The
offering was used for mission work, and we helped- 3 Theologies, 2 families, 1 sick
person and 1 widow.
14) In the year 2013 April, Women department contributed Rs. 30,000/- for “Music fest”.
15) In the year 2015, Women department donated Rs. 10,000/- to NPBF Youth Department
as a help for Youth Camp.
10. 16) Women department donated Rs. 5,500/- monthly for 2 years ( i.e 2013-2014) as Women
Pastor salary.
17) In the year 2015, Women department donated Rs. 1,00,000/- (One lakh only) as a help
to church for Silver Jubilee.
18) Women department donates Rs. 2,000/- to Chingen Village.
19) Women department donates Rs. 5,000/- for revival crusade.
20) Women department donated Rs. 1,500 to Naginimora Evangelist of Naginimora.
21) Women department donated Rs. 5,000/- of Pastor Zulu Ao Wedding.
22) Women department donates Rs. 4,000/- of Youth Pastor Wedding.

3) Mrs. Asola Jamir is serving as Women Secretary voluntarily from 2015 till date.

1) Mr. & Mrs. Alet, O/c, donated the first Women Box (Wooden Box) to Women
department.

4) Mrs. Manya donated 2 (two) bed sheets.
5) In the year 1994, Mr. & Mrs. Taka donated Rs. 200/- as women leader lumsum.
6) In the year 2003, Mr. & Mrs. Chingen donated Rs. 150/- every month as women leader
lumsum.
