3. Costume (Female)…
For our female performer, we have chosen a
white dress, which holds the connotations of
innocence. This is because we believe it’s
important to show an obvious distinction
between the genders of the two performers.
However, we plan to dress down the outfit
with Converse sneakers, which is a brand our
target audience are known to like.
4. Costume (Male)…
Our male should be wearing
predominantly black
clothing. This is because this
fits best with our target
audience’s own style.
The outfit to the right is
how we envisioned it.
However, we may have to
include a coat, as we will be
shooting in the winter.
5. Props…
We have minimal props in our music
video as the focus is more on the
performers and their actions.
However, it is crucial we have enough
eyeliner to create attractive and
aesthetically pleasing ‘tattoos’.
As I will be the one to draw the ‘tattoos’,
I intend to use a kohl stick-type liner.
6. Makeup/Tattoos…
The inspiration for my
tattoo ideas came from the
vine-like Celtic designs that
were fashionable in tattoo
design a lot in the past 10
years.
I was also inspired by the
fictional character of Daken
Akihiro. This could be seen
as intertextuality.
7. Location…
Our locations will be a variety
of settings throughout the
town. Both starting and ending
somewhere that looks out over
the scenery of the town and
surrounding areas.
A large proportion of the shots
will be set in the woods, to fit
with the generic convention of
our genre.
