INFORMATION For the last several years, I served as the lead procurement manager at the
Lone Star location. I placed all internal orders for flat roll product which
constituted the input material for ERW Mills for Lone Star, Bellville
(Houston area) and USS’s portion of Texas Tubular Products (alliance mill
producing Line Pipe and Seam Annealed Casing).
Prior to that, I headed up the Vendor Managed Inventory program for Lone
Star Steel’s Drawn Over Mandrel products (supplying tubes to the
automotive, construction and hydraulic cylinder manufacturers). I
developed and implemented an inventory tool which helped us improve
on-time delivery from 55% to 90%.
LEADERSHIP Most recently served as the team lead for USS’s effort to reduce Days-On-
Hand inventory. Served on the Key Account Management team for USS,
and previously led interdepartmental teams for such efforts as cost
reduction, inventory optimization and on-time delivery.
