WORK HISTORY
• November 2015 - present: Edward Tire, Auto Mechanic Apprentice
o Responsibilities include;
o 15k - 30k mile tune-up procedures per manufacture specifications
o Oil and filter change, tire rotation and balancing
o Changed brake rotors and pads
o Installed cold air intake, air filter maintenance
o Coolant flush, spark plug replacement
• December 2015 - present: Stop & Shop, Cashier
o Responsibilities include; Stocking shelves, cashier, bagger, and various clean up activities.
• Summer 2014, 2015 - Cupsaw Lake Snack Bar Closer
o I started at the snack bar stand as a regular sales clerk. The snack bar needed a daily closer. I
volunteered for the closer position. A closers responsibilities include: reconcile cash in the register,
deposit cash into drop box, close and clean the snack stand, and restock inventory. Successfully
closed the snack stand for both summers with no discrepancies.
• Spring 2010 - present: Automotive Repair, Home Mechanic - Maintained 3 cars up to 120,000 miles.
Repairs included: same list as above.
• 2010 - 2015: Volunteer Construction
o My work schedule was in the afternoons only, however, I wanted to be productive in the mornings
and on weekends as well. Therefore, I volunteered at a local convent where the visitor’s bathrooms
needed to be rebuilt. I assisted in: demolition, poured new concrete floors, installed new plumbing
and electrical wiring, hung sheet rock, installed tiles, and painted walls. The new visitors’
bathrooms were rebuilt to professional standards.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
• Performed 4 concerts at Carnegie Hall during my high school career
• White water kayaking – up to Class V (highest level before water falls)
• Commodity and foreign exchange (FX) trading – went long and short (on paper) futures and spreads
• Sang under the direction of world-renowned composer John Rutter, and performed the world premiere of
The Exodus by Earnestine Rodgers Robinson in Carnegie Hall
• Maintained three cars without the need for a mechanic to 120,000 miles
• Sing and chant in church choir – weekly
• 7 years of swimming lessons – advanced to competitive level
