➢ Love Lives Here: (Street Ministry) I have visited and prayed with the people who lived
and resided in and around the downtown streets of Winnipeg.I have worked with people
side by side, and with others whom had the experience of spending time with the
homeless and listening to their stories and sharing spirituality. I watched and learned
how to be humble, patient and how to not be judgemental of those less fortunate.
➢ Light House Mission: (Soup Kitchen) I went almost daily to serve soup and
sandwiches to the people in the downtown area.
➢ Siloam Mission: (Homeless Shelter) I lent a hand in cleaning the mission after
everyone had left, by wiping down beds and bathrooms. When they shut down to clean
the common area, I cleaned washrooms. I went into the food service areas and helped
in preparing product when it arrived.
➢ Drop in Center (DI): (Homeless Shelter) Hygiene and laundry services; doing
laundry and handing out the supplies to the clients. Elevator ; sending people up to
their floors, as well as up to “daysleep”. Intox ; Getting things ready for the people to
spend the night. Clothing store; sorting out clothes/sizes/genders, etc.
Education: Completed Grade 9
