EXCELLENCE
CELEBRATING MEMORIES
2. Choosing between Caldwell cremation
services and traditional services is often a
tough call.
And when someone had just passed on,
emotions are raw. You don’t want to make a
snap decision and feel wrong about it late.
A cremation is a respectful option, as is a
traditional service with burial. Cremation
might be the right choice for your family if
any of the following items are true:
3. Whether they left specific instructions or
just made comments to that effect, if
you know your loved one wanted to be
cremated, of course you will want to
honor that.
Knowing that will make your decision
much easier. If anyone questions you,
you can tell them your loved one wanted
that disposition method and that’s the
end of the discussion.
4.
5. You might have trouble choosing one disposition over
another just because of cost, but if everyone is
comfortable with cremation and you have a small
budget, there’s nothing wrong with going that way.
Cremation costs less than burial for a number of reasons,
many of which include services you just don’t have to
purchase when cremation is your method of choice.
6. Families might start out in one location, but as the years pass by,
they tend to spread out. If yours has spread out not only across a
state, but all over the country, it might be hard for people to travel
on short notice when a death occurs.
Cremation allows you time to inform everyone of a memorial
service, even if it’s a month or more down the road, so people can
make plans, get time off work, and travel to the right destination.
You can also take cremains anywhere you need to go so if there is
a central location that works better, your family can meet in the
middle and your loved one can be present in their urn for the
memorial service of your choice.
