It is my pleasure to recommend Mr. Patrick Mattes. I have worked with Patrick for the past two years
where he has worked as an instructional aide, supporting students in our Information Communication
Technology Center. Students attended this area one time per week as a class where they interacted with
iPads focusing on research based activities to enhance twenty-first century learning skills.
Mr. Mattes demonstrated reflection within his instruction and collaborated with instructional coaches to
support learning. In addition, Patrick supported interventions within classrooms for both literacy and
math. Patrick is dedicated to student learning.
Patrick established a rapport as he works with students. His friendly demeanor carries over into the
work he does with adults. He is truly a pleasure to work with, always presenting with a genuine smile
and willingness to support others. He frequently contributes and adds value to professional discussions.
Patrick was always willing to support students and staff throughout the building. I recommend Patrick
