This document outlines the steps for a site coordinator to enroll their school in the 67th Annual Los Angeles County Science & Engineering Fair. The site coordinator must first view an informational PowerPoint and pass a quiz. They will then receive login credentials to register their school online, providing school and contact details. Finally, the site coordinator should download and mail in an enrollment fee/waiver form along with payment, if not waived. The document provides contacts for questions at various stages of the enrollment process.

2. Are you the school’s Site Coordinator?
 A Site Coordinator must be a science teacher or
administrator at an enrolling school site.
 The Site Coordinator is the information liaison between
the LosAngeles County Science and Engineering Fair
and the students at the school.
 If you have questions regarding your qualifications as a
Site Coordinator, please contact jmoses@lascifair.org.

3. School Enrollment: Step 1
 Visit our website www.lascifair.org and view the
Site Coordinator 101 Power Point.

4. Site Coordinator 101
 Make sure to take the quiz at the end of the Site
Coordinator 101 Power Point.
 Within 72 hours of your receiving 100% on the quiz, you
will be emailed a password to log into our online
registration system.

5. School Enrollment: Step 2
 When you receive your password, use it to log into our
online registration system at www.app2.lascifair.org
 Follow the prompts and enter your and your school’s
information.

6. Your Email Address
 Make sure to provide us with an email address you check
often.
 Adjust your SPAM filter accordingly so that you will
receive emails from noreply@lascifair.org

7. Grade Levels
 Grades 6-8 compete in the Junior Division
 Grades 9-12 compete in the Senior Division
 You will only be allowed to
check off grade levels within 1
division. If your school falls into
both divisions, please contact contact
our registrar.

8. School Enrollment: Step 3
 When you are done entering information into our online
registration system, please visit www.lascifair.org to
download & print the School Enrollment Fee/Waiver form.
 There is a 20% discount if your payment is received by
December 2, 2016.

9. Requesting aWaiver
 If your school receivesTitle I funding or has a student
population of 80% under-represented minorities in
science, you can request a waiver of fees.
 Under-represented minorities in science include students
of American Indian, Alaskan Native, Pacific Islander,
Filipino, Hispanic and/orAfrican American Heritage.

10. Mailing in Payment /Waiver Request
 Please email the Enrollment Fee /Waiver form along with
payment (if applicable).
Fees are non-refundable. We cannot accept credit card payments.

11. You’re Done!
 Once you have mailed in your Enrollment Fee /Waiver form,
you are done with the enrollment process.
 You can view your payment / wavier status online by logging
into our online registration system (app2.lascifair.org). Your
home page will let you know your status.
