1. Dear Sir/Madam:
Patricia Montgomery has asked that I write a letter of recommendation based on our
professional association. I am confident that I can provide an objective recommendation
for Ms. Montgomery.
Patricia served as department a lead office administrator for SetonWorldWide beginning
in 2002. She consistently demonstrated herself as an energetic and enthusiastic employee.
As a team player, she had a strong work ethic and was committed to her work and her
colleagues. I was impressed by her excellent communication skills and can attest to her
ability to follow through with complete thoroughness with any assignment she was asked
to take on. She showed tenacity and fortitude in completing those assigned projects on
time and she displayed the capacity to work well independently
Pat distinguished herself as a key player in SetonWorldWide and did a great deal to
improve and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. She grasped
new ideas quickly, had initiative and was attentive to detail. All those who came in
contact with her throughout the university held Pat in the highest regard and her absence
was sorely felt by both her colleagues and the university.
A particularly essential characteristic that Pat demonstrated was her loyalty and
trustworthiness. Dealing with students, internal colleagues and external constituencies
requires a specific degree of finesse and she carried herself well and represented the
university and Seton Hall in a professional and polished manner.
2. Pat would be an asset to any organization and I regretted losing such a fine individual.
Knowing that Pat was seeking to advance her career though, I understood her need to
explore other opportunities. I am certain she will accomplish and achieve anything she
takes on. As such, I recommend Pat without reservation.
If I can provide any additional information, do not hesitate to contact me. I can be
reached by email or by phone at (973) 761-9086.
Sincerely,
Philip DiSalvio, Ed.D., Director
SetonWorldWide, The Online Campus of Seton Hall University
