• We have dedicated AMS 2500-VM subsystem which is externalized to V3170 Netapp filer.
• Tier 1 disk arrays are dedicated to critical servers
• In BB&T replication environment have TrueCopy, HUR,ShawdowImage are implemented for business continuity and DR purpose
controlled via Hitachi Command control Interface commands.
Netapp:
• BB&T NAS Storage infrastructure modeled with FAS3170 Filers and IBM N-Series supported more than 54 filers in primary and DR
site with 3.5 PB capacity
• Protocols primarily in use in filers – NFS, CIFS, Snap Mirror, Snap Vault, Snapshots.
• Filers are running on Data ONTAP OS 8 mostly Active/Active clustered.
• NetApp deduplication is enabled for space saving
