to avoid them.

4. Speaking unnaturally
You must be fluent in your speech to pass the PTE Academic
Speaking test. Fluency, on the other hand, does not mean
speaking speedily.
5. Not speaking into the microphone
It's also a skill to learn how to speak into a microphone.
Purchase a good microphone and recorder, and listen to your
speech once it has been recorded. When you listen to
yourself, check to see if you breathed into the microphone,
which can happen when we speak words with sounds like
"ph," "sh," "ch," "b," and so on. Also, avoid clearing your
throat, coughing, sneezing, sighing, etc. during your talk
because the automated grading system may take it as a word.
It's a good idea to practice speaking clearly and completely.
6. Interjecting with sounds or fillers
In normal circumstances, we will take a moment and think
about our next phrase or expression by using noises like
"hmmm" or "aaah." Some people have the habit of using
words like "like," "so," and other similar expressions in every
phrase. When we are having a conversation, it is natural and
does not disrupt the flow of our conversation. However, it is
recorded as a word in the PTE Academic Speaking test, which
breaks the coherence of our statements and results in a low
score.
7. Use formal academic language
It's critical that you respond to the tasks in a professional
manner, using vocabulary from academic sources. You
should keep your structures passive and utilize amazing
terms rather than the common language we use in social
interactions. It's also important to avoid repeating the
same word over and over again. Differ your language use,
and speak in exact terms while remaining focused on the
task.
8. Complete your sentences
Make sure you have all of your sentences prepared out. Move
on to the next sentence without leaving any sentences
unfinished. Don't panic or feel pressed for time, as this will
lead to hasty conversation and a major blunder. Make your
sentence structures and express them clearly and articulately.
Don't rush through your assignment by speaking in
fragmented sentences and phrases. Also, if you find that you
have overlooked a piece of information or points in your
sentence while speaking, don’t start it over. Complete the
sentence and add you missed point as a new sentence.
