from 10g to 11g and data split. As DBA we were mainly involved/ responsible for the first two steps

file systems at the target Data centre same as source, making the DRs at the target DC and convert
the DRs to primary during go-live.

• Server build at the target DC as replica of source and validate
• Make the file system in sync
• Build DR at the target DC for all the DBs in source DC.
• During go-live convert the DR to primary and bring up the applications
• Did a full rehearsal of the whole activity during Dev/UAT system build and did the testing and
validation.
