Technology In Fashion
Abstract
As the power of science and technology merge together, society lifestyles have been altered profoundly. In the mid– 1900s, the science community was
convinced that body–worn technology would be a hit. Most developments can be found to be very little and all of the few consumer products so far
have not been very successful. The first part of the thesis illustrates why this is the case and presents examples that why smart clothing could be a part
of everyday life. The second part shows research on how the smart clothing industry has the potential to expand. It supports a sustainable lifestyle by
showing the pros and cons of the fashion design,
Introduction
In today's society the evolution of smartphones and tablets, and wearable technology has been a huge leader in the consumer's electronic market
(Berkeley University of California). Electronic textiles, also known as smart garments, smart clothing, smart textiles or smart fabrics refers to
technology embedded into their fabric. Many technologists are using a wide range of sensors to provide consumers with more information and data
about their body and lives than ever before. Despite the rapid growth of wearable technology in fitness tracker and smartwatch categories other
categories are lacking in growth and sell. So far, smart clothing can be mostly found in certain markets such as, healthcare, sports or the military. It has
not yet made it mainstream in big consumer markets but as advancements occur smart

Becoming a Fashion Designer
Cynthia Nellis, in her column "Day in the Life of a Fashion Couture Designer", says, "... nothing is ever typical in the world of fashion...no day is
ever 'routine', although we begin and end each day more or less the same: in early, out late." Working as aFashion Designer is a very busy, hard and
challenging job. You have to provide a lot of strengths in creativity, marketing and determination; to be successful. The purpose of this paper is to
give information on the subject on fashion design, and to intend to show how fashion design works. Several questions will be addressed in this
research paper. What is a usual work day look like? How...show more content...
Many famous designers get to travel all over the world to see fashion shows and get foreign inspiration, or even to just make business connections.
Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages too. Perfection is often a nemesis of many famous designers. It takes sometimes more than two
hundred hours to complete a ambitious project, depending on the complexity of the inner and outer construction and the extent of the finish work.
Another disadvantage is working late shifts and overtime, without receiving much salary. The advantages can be in a way disadvantages. While
working with other people there might be conflicts or a possibility of fighting with difficult coworkers. Another disadvantage is that designers
work in a room that is very noisy and distracting. You work the hardest when it is right before a deadline or a fashion show. They cram everything,
which places more pressure on them during this time. Last but not least, fashion designers have a difficult time trying to find one specific type of
clothing that fits all the people. ("How to become a fashion designer") To become a designer, it is best to begin at a young age and develop your
talents. A fashion designer should be artistic and full of imagination and ideas. In addition you should be able to work hard, be open– minded to other
workers, which includes self– motivation and the ability to work under pressure. "We can't teach you how to be creative – you have to bring your

This essay will discuss Fast Fashion and the Impact of Technology. I will focus on the different levels of the market, the effect of fast fashion on
fashion design, how copying effects high end designer brands and the impact of technology on the fashion industry.
There are three different sectors in the fashion industry. These are Haute Couture, PrГЄt– Г –Porter (Ready to Wear) and High Street (Mass Market.)
There is a huge difference between the three sectors ranging from the cost, manufacturing, design and its customers.
1. Haute Couture
Haute couture can be referenced back as early as the 1700s. Rose Bertin, the French fashion designer to Queen Marie Antoinette, can be credited for

2. PrГЄt– Г –Porter (Ready to Wear)
'Due to technological advances, military uniforms were the first ready–to–wear garments to be mass–produced during the War of 1812.High–quality
ready–to–wear garments for men became generally available soon thereafter, as the relatively simple, flattering cuts and muted tones of the
contemporary fashion made proportionate sizing possible in mass production. As female fashion was, at the time, still highly ornate and dependent on a
precise fit, ready–to–wear garments did not become widely available for women until much later' (Hollander 1992, p27–33).
Ready–to–wear has rather different connotations in the spheres of fashion and classic clothing. In the fashion industry, designers produce
ready–to–wear clothing intended to be worn without significant alteration, because clothing made to standard sizes fits most people.
They use standard patterns, factory equipment, and faster construction techniques to keep costs low, compared to a custom–sewn version of the same
item. Some fashion houses and fashion designers produce mass–produced and industrially manufactured ready–to–wear lines, while others offer
garments that, while not unique, are produced in limited numbers.
3. High Street (Mass Market)
High Street fashion is the most popular and most affordable way of shopping that there is as it is a lot more cost efficient compared to Haute Couture
or Ready To Wear. High street fashion would be shops such as

My Dream Of A Fashion Institute Of Technology
When applying to colleges, everyone has a goal in their mind that they are looking forward to accomplishing. I also have an aim and plan which I
want to execute in the best way possible. The first and most crucial thing that holds immense importance in fulfilling your dream is the college one
chooses to go to. I chose Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) for many reasons, Starting off by mentioning the wide variety of business and
marketing programs they provide. Moreover, the community of the college is known to be one of the best in New York, with a beautiful campus
and especially for me, the commute is a great steal. While applying to colleges, FIT caught my attention the most. This was the only college,
whom I see myself graduating from in four years with my dream of a bachelor degree in marketing. The reason why I chose marketing is that I
have always been a social person who loves talking and most importantly I am an extremely organized person who knows how to perform her tasks
very well. So that is why I see myself working as a marketing manager for big companies like Google and Apple.
While thousands of students will be applying to FIT, the question is "What makes me the perfect candidate for FIT and what makes me stand out?"
Well, unlike most students that mainly only are concerned about their GPA and spend all theirhigh school years in studying, I just did not study but also
took all advantages of my school clubs and community service opportunities. During my

The Technological Side Of Fashion
Between the 18th and 19th century, the Industrial Revolution occurred in Britain, leaving results that greatly impacted on the way that people lived
their lives. Until this very day aspects of society are continuously changing especially in the world of fashion. The fashion industry is constantly
evolving especially both technological and economical aspects. The technological side of fashion has emerged greatly with technology like 3D printers
becoming common for fashion brands to use when creating new garments. For example during the winter of 2015 the high street brand Topshop
collaborated with Wonderluk, a company who create and sell 3D printed accessories. The collaboration included 3D printed necklaces, rings, and
bowties. In economic...show more content...
For example, a main attribute of the economics will be how much each piece of clothing costs to make. Also, other costs such the disruption and
shipping of the clothing will be included in the economic side of fashion. Companies spend big amounts of money in all of these elements of fashion,
especially on the textiles used to produce the garment with along with the materials that will be used to distribute the clothing in. Cotton, a heavily
used material in the fashion industry, is regularly blamed for contributing towards environmental issues that the world is facing alongside other things.
Sportswear brand Puma, are aware of the waste the fashion industry is believed to be contributing towards environmental issues, so the company
teamed up with designer Yves Behar in 2015 to create the 'clever little bag'. This is their new sustainable way of distributing their shoes to
customers instead of using cardboard boxes. Instead the bag is made with less material and as the packaging is a sleeve with handles there is no
need for a use of a plastic carrier bag when the shoes are first purchased. The main concept behind the change of the packaging was to help reduce the
amount of wastage that happens when shoes are distributed in shoe boxes. Because shoe boxes are not being re–used or recycled into something else
more and more cardboard is being wasted, which goes back to a big amount of trees are being cut down to produce these boxes. It

Fashion Is A Career As A Fashion Designer
The life of a fashion designer is stressful and demanding, yet fun, creative and exciting. As a fashion designer, you get to make wide varieties of
things worn by people all over the world, from clothing, to shoes and accessories. A bit of time needs to be invested in training and experience
gathering for a successful and fulfilling career, but the salary could be better than your average job and you'd be doing what you love, if designing
clothes is your passion.
The nature of fashion designing is generally demanding and unpredictable, as long hours spent are common especially when a deadline approaches.
They have to analyze fashion trends and work closely with production, marketing, and sales departments to design and produce a finished,
ready–to–wear product for apparel manufacturers, specialty and retail stores, or individual clients. Many designers travel several times a year to
fashion shows to learn about the latest fashion trends. Designers also sometimes travel to other countries to meet suppliers of materials and
manufacturers who can produce the final products. They usually work in...show more content...
Unfortunately, jobs that are related to sewing and cloth manufacturing will have a steady decline since most of the mass–produced clothes are already
made overseas. There will be tough competition among other designers and great job opportunities will ensue from big firms or companies that design
mass–market clothes. Meanwhile, fewer job opportunities will be generated from industries catering to specialty boutiques and the high–end fashion
market. Salaries will vary between the amount of skills, education and experience a designer has. The median annual salary wages of most fashion
designers fall into the $62,860 per year and $30.22 per hour range, while the top salaries may range from $75,000 to $100,000 a year or

In my opinion, it is nonsense to claim that sustainable fashion in any case will be more expensive, because 'sustainable' is not a product. It is just a
way to approach fashion. In the long run, we will not have this choice, sustainable will be just a word and not a stamp on a piece of clothing anymore.
How is that for the future ? How sustainable can we become ? Is it realistic to strive for an immortal world or were the Maya's right and is 'the end
of the world' unavoidable ? Sustainability in fashion will be all about full transparency and a growth in technology. Sustainability will no longer be an
option or a free choice but a lifestyle with rules and regulations. The environment is that much damaged by humanity that everybody is obligated to
live life sustainable. Sources of energy and raw materials getting lost or becoming scarce, which means that we are forced to create substitutes. This
will lead to an increase in creativity. When you lack something it always forces you to come up with a creative solution, history has though us that.
Fashion and the popular culture/entertainment industry cross boundaries more often than not. This is not a new phenomenon. But high fashion and
Hollywood are not necessarily a match made in heaven. Nobody will ever dare to claim that the perfumes of let's say a Christina Aguilera, Jennifer

Introduction to Fashion as an Industry
Fashion industry as an enterprise is a multibillion–dollar industry devoted to designing, manufacturing and selling of clothes. The industry entails the
processes of designing, manufacturing, distributing, marketing, retailing, promoting and advertising of different designer fashion and apparel. Broadly
the term "fashion industry" refers to a great number of industries and services that offer employment opportunities to millions of people across the
globe. The fashion industry is a modern industry due to the fact that most clothes were homemade up to the late 19th century. It was not until the dawn
of the 20th century, characterized technological advancement, that so the birth of sewing machines coupled to rise in the worldwide capitalism as well
as the rise in factory production systems that fashion industry came into the limelight.
Though the industry bears its origin in the United States and Europe it has tremendously grown and today it is a leading global industry. The industry
has also faced modernization with most of the industries outsourcing some of the services to other parts of the world (Winter & Lasch, 2016). For
instance an American based fashion industry may source for fabric in Europe, manufacture the clothes in China and ship them back to their warehouse
where they are distributed to different parts of the world.
Fashion industry can therefore be categorized into four broad level that include; raw material production; fashion designing, retain and advertisement.
Unlike other manufacturing industry it remains unique in that it is characterized by one simple factor – change. This is to say that fashion is best
defined as a function of the person who design it. Unlike apparel which is basically geared towards the making of clothes, fashion has another aspect
in that it has to incorporate taste, style prejudice as well as cultural evolution as morality plays a critical role in fashion evolution (Schiller–merkens,
2017). The changing of style is a predominant aspect of the fashion industry and this necessitates a change through the industry not only in the
production aspect but also in terms of design, advertisement and promotion (Lu, 2016).

My Interest In The Fashion Industry
In the recent years, the fashion industry has been constantly changing its style and because of this, it has drawn me in strongly into the industry.
Having an interest in the fashion industry can mean many things. For starters, it can mean just having an eye on the stylish, luxury items, but for
others, it could mean to collect the most stylish, rare, and luxurious items. The fashion industry consists of three categories: apparel; footwear; and
accessories. For me, I am drawn greatly by the footwear and accessories side of fashion. This interest cum hobby first came to me in early 2016 when a
close friend of mine wore an iconic Comme des GarГ§ons heart graphic tee, Y–3 sweatpants and a pair of Adidas NMDs. It was the first time I've ever
seen and heard of such brands and it led me to discover the vast majority of brands in the streetwear fashion industry. From there, I discovered about
the current icons of Supreme, Off–White, Air Jordans, and many more. After much research and savings, I bought my first pair of Air Jordans, it was
nicknamed 'AJ1 Bronze Medal', and it became my favorite shoe ever since. Initially, I did not have plans to purchase more of these products as the
thought of just having to spend so much money on such things was just preposterous. However, it came to my attention that these things were not just
wearables, instead, they were also an investment. Apparently, the resale market for Supreme apparels was a "big deal" in Asia and in Europe where

I possess a strong vision for my goal to become a fashion designer that utilizes textiles, visual art and conceptual theory to create works that impact the

throughout my education at Langley Fine Arts School, all–women's college Moore College of Art and Design, and throughout my successes and
failures post–graduation. After graduating Moore, I decided to follow my passion in textile design. I worked, as an Assistant Designer at

to explain why my story is unique. My unique first love makes my story different; they once said to me "An artist sees the world in a different way."
This resonated as uncanny to me, as I have known the world with my art eyes. Do you remember your first love? Why is your first love, so different

Pros And Cons Of Fashion
Changes: Throughout the years' fashion has been a huge deal around the world. Fashion creates diversity in many culture separating people, but also
bringing people together. The clothes you wear say a whole lot about your personality. Though because most fashion styles revolve around TV shows,
movies, plays, celebrities influence a great deal of our trends and fashion choices. Therefore, what you like to watch or listen to reflects back to your
clothing. Even though fashion changes every so often, trends from past times tend to make reappearances. Fashion trends such as, 1950s red lipstick,
contorting, 1950s full brows, white eyeliner, that have grown old have come back in 2017. Why do fashion trends repeat? Some of the main factors
that cause a repetition pattern among many trends are, trends and society are constantly cycling, also imitation is a human way of life. Have you ever
heard the phrase "monkey see monkey do?" This can apply to the fashion industry. If you see someone wearing a bright lipstick and getting a lot of
positive attention it makes you want to wear bright lipstick too.
Pros and Cons of fashion: Fashion influences many aspects of our day to day life. Often fashion acts as a creative outlet for many different people in
many different ways. These ways include things such as, sewing, drawing, or shopping. Most people use their clothing to express themselves, though
there can be negative effects of fashion such as body image, if you see someone on a show

My Interest In Fashion
From an early age, I have always had an interest in fashion. It stemmed from the time I spent designing outfits and playing computer games where I

Technology In Fashion

  • 1. Technology In Fashion Abstract As the power of science and technology merge together, society lifestyles have been altered profoundly. It supports a sustainable lifestyle by showing the pros and cons of the fashion design, Introduction In today's society the evolution of smartphones and tablets, and wearable technology has been a huge leader in the consumer's electronic market (Berkeley University of California). Electronic textiles, also known as smart garments, smart clothing, smart textiles or smart fabrics refers to technology embedded into their fabric. Many technologists are using a wide range of sensors to provide consumers with more information and data about their body and lives than ever before. Despite the rapid growth of wearable technology in fitness tracker and smartwatch categories other categories are lacking in growth and sell. Becoming a Fashion Designer Essay Steve Mergarten Mrs. Malaspino English 12 A November 28, 2009 Becoming a Fashion Designer Cynthia Nellis, in her column "Day in the Life of a Fashion Couture Designer", says, "... nothing is ever typical in the world of fashion...no day is ever 'routine', although we begin and end each day more or less the same: in early, out late." Many famous designers get to travel all over the world to see fashion shows and get foreign inspiration, or even to just make business connections. Unfortunately, there are some disadvantages too. Perfection is often a nemesis of many famous designers. It takes sometimes more than two hundred hours to complete a ambitious project, depending on the complexity of the inner and outer construction and the extent of the finish work. Another disadvantage is working late shifts and overtime, without receiving much salary. The advantages can be in a way disadvantages. While working with other people there might be conflicts or a possibility of fighting with difficult coworkers. Another disadvantage is that designers work in a room that is very noisy and distracting. You work the hardest when it is right before a deadline or a fashion show. They cram everything, which places more pressure on them during this time. Last but not least, fashion designers have a difficult time trying to find one specific type of clothing that fits all the people. ("How to become a fashion designer") To become a designer, it is best to begin at a young age and develop your talents. A fashion designer should be artistic and full of imagination and ideas. • 4. This essay will discuss Fast Fashion and the Impact of Technology. I will focus on the different levels of the market, the effect of fast fashion on fashion design, how copying effects high end designer brands and the impact of technology on the fashion industry. There are three different sectors in the fashion industry. These are Haute Couture, PrГЄt– Г –Porter (Ready to Wear) and High Street (Mass Market.) There is a huge difference between the three sectors ranging from the cost, manufacturing, design and its customers. 1. Haute Couture Haute couture can be referenced back as early as the 1700s. PrГЄt– Г –Porter (Ready to Wear) 'Due to technological advances, military uniforms were the first ready–to–wear garments to be mass–produced during the War of 1812.High–quality ready–to–wear garments for men became generally available soon thereafter, as the relatively simple, flattering cuts and muted tones of the contemporary fashion made proportionate sizing possible in mass production. As female fashion was, at the time, still highly ornate and dependent on a precise fit, ready–to–wear garments did not become widely available for women until much later' (Hollander 1992, p27–33). Ready–to–wear has rather different connotations in the spheres of fashion and classic clothing. In the fashion industry, designers produce ready–to–wear clothing intended to be worn without significant alteration, because clothing made to standard sizes fits most people. They use standard patterns, factory equipment, and faster construction techniques to keep costs low, compared to a custom–sewn version of the same item. Some fashion houses and fashion designers produce mass–produced and industrially manufactured ready–to–wear lines, while others offer garments that, while not unique, are produced in limited numbers. 3. High Street (Mass Market) High Street fashion is the most popular and most affordable way of shopping that there is as it is a lot more cost efficient compared to Haute Couture or Ready To Wear. High street fashion would be shops such as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Dream Of A Fashion Institute Of Technology When applying to colleges, everyone has a goal in their mind that they are looking forward to accomplishing. I also have an aim and plan which I want to execute in the best way possible. The first and most crucial thing that holds immense importance in fulfilling your dream is the college one chooses to go to. I chose Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) for many reasons, Starting off by mentioning the wide variety of business and marketing programs they provide. Moreover, the community of the college is known to be one of the best in New York, with a beautiful campus and especially for me, the commute is a great steal. While applying to colleges, FIT caught my attention the most. This was the only college, whom I see myself graduating from in four years with my dream of a bachelor degree in marketing. The reason why I chose marketing is that I have always been a social person who loves talking and most importantly I am an extremely organized person who knows how to perform her tasks very well. So that is why I see myself working as a marketing manager for big companies like Google and Apple. While thousands of students will be applying to FIT, the question is "What makes me the perfect candidate for FIT and what makes me stand out?" Well, unlike most students that mainly only are concerned about their GPA and spend all theirhigh school years in studying, I just did not study but also took all advantages of my school clubs and community service opportunities. The Technological Side Of Fashion Between the 18th and 19th century, the Industrial Revolution occurred in Britain, leaving results that greatly impacted on the way that people lived their lives. Until this very day aspects of society are continuously changing especially in the world of fashion. The fashion industry is constantly evolving especially both technological and economical aspects. The technological side of fashion has emerged greatly with technology like 3D printers becoming common for fashion brands to use when creating new garments. For example during the winter of 2015 the high street brand Topshop collaborated with Wonderluk, a company who create and sell 3D printed accessories. The collaboration included 3D printed necklaces, rings, and bowties. In economic...show more content... For example, a main attribute of the economics will be how much each piece of clothing costs to make. Also, other costs such the disruption and shipping of the clothing will be included in the economic side of fashion. Companies spend big amounts of money in all of these elements of fashion, especially on the textiles used to produce the garment with along with the materials that will be used to distribute the clothing in. Cotton, a heavily used material in the fashion industry, is regularly blamed for contributing towards environmental issues that the world is facing alongside other things. Sportswear brand Puma, are aware of the waste the fashion industry is believed to be contributing towards environmental issues, so the company teamed up with designer Yves Behar in 2015 to create the 'clever little bag'. This is their new sustainable way of distributing their shoes to customers instead of using cardboard boxes. Instead the bag is made with less material and as the packaging is a sleeve with handles there is no need for a use of a plastic carrier bag when the shoes are first purchased. The main concept behind the change of the packaging was to help reduce the amount of wastage that happens when shoes are distributed in shoe boxes. Because shoe boxes are not being re–used or recycled into something else more and more cardboard is being wasted, which goes back to a big amount of trees are being cut down to produce these boxes. • 7. Fashion Is A Career As A Fashion Designer The life of a fashion designer is stressful and demanding, yet fun, creative and exciting. As a fashion designer, you get to make wide varieties of things worn by people all over the world, from clothing, to shoes and accessories. A bit of time needs to be invested in training and experience gathering for a successful and fulfilling career, but the salary could be better than your average job and you'd be doing what you love, if designing clothes is your passion. The nature of fashion designing is generally demanding and unpredictable, as long hours spent are common especially when a deadline approaches. They have to analyze fashion trends and work closely with production, marketing, and sales departments to design and produce a finished, ready–to–wear product for apparel manufacturers, specialty and retail stores, or individual clients. There will be tough competition among other designers and great job opportunities will ensue from big firms or companies that design mass–market clothes. Meanwhile, fewer job opportunities will be generated from industries catering to specialty boutiques and the high–end fashion market. Salaries will vary between the amount of skills, education and experience a designer has. The median annual salary wages of most fashion designers fall into the $62,860 per year and $30.22 per hour range, while the top salaries may range from $75,000 to $100,000 a year or Get more content on HelpWriting.net

But best case scenario: we will still be here 20 years from now, how will that world look like, How will fashion look like in 20 years from now? In my opinion the future of fashion and the earth in general will be more efficient, greener, socially better and will have an entire new mindset on how we look at and consume fashion. In my opinion, it is nonsense to claim that sustainable fashion in any case will be more expensive, because 'sustainable' is not a product. It is just a way to approach fashion. In the long run, we will not have this choice, sustainable will be just a word and not a stamp on a piece of clothing anymore. How is that for the future ? How sustainable can we become ? Is it realistic to strive for an immortal world or were the Maya's right and is 'the end of the world' unavoidable ? Sustainability in fashion will be all about full transparency and a growth in technology. Sustainability will no longer be an option or a free choice but a lifestyle with rules and regulations. The environment is that much damaged by humanity that everybody is obligated to live life sustainable. Sources of energy and raw materials getting lost or becoming scarce, which means that we are forced to create substitutes. This will lead to an increase in creativity. When you lack something it always forces you to come up with a creative solution, history has though us that. • 11. Introduction to Fashion as an Industry Fashion industry as an enterprise is a multibillion–dollar industry devoted to designing, manufacturing and selling of clothes. The industry entails the processes of designing, manufacturing, distributing, marketing, retailing, promoting and advertising of different designer fashion and apparel. Broadly the term "fashion industry" refers to a great number of industries and services that offer employment opportunities to millions of people across the globe. The fashion industry is a modern industry due to the fact that most clothes were homemade up to the late 19th century. It was not until the dawn of the 20th century, characterized technological advancement, that so the birth of sewing machines coupled to rise in the worldwide capitalism as well as the rise in factory production systems that fashion industry came into the limelight. Though the industry bears its origin in the United States and Europe it has tremendously grown and today it is a leading global industry. The industry has also faced modernization with most of the industries outsourcing some of the services to other parts of the world (Winter & Lasch, 2016). For instance an American based fashion industry may source for fabric in Europe, manufacture the clothes in China and ship them back to their warehouse where they are distributed to different parts of the world. Fashion industry can therefore be categorized into four broad level that include; raw material production; fashion designing, retain and advertisement. Unlike other manufacturing industry it remains unique in that it is characterized by one simple factor – change. This is to say that fashion is best defined as a function of the person who design it. Unlike apparel which is basically geared towards the making of clothes, fashion has another aspect in that it has to incorporate taste, style prejudice as well as cultural evolution as morality plays a critical role in fashion evolution (Schiller–merkens, 2017). The changing of style is a predominant aspect of the fashion industry and this necessitates a change through the industry not only in the production aspect but also in terms of design, advertisement and promotion (Lu, 2016). • 13. My Interest In The Fashion Industry In the recent years, the fashion industry has been constantly changing its style and because of this, it has drawn me in strongly into the industry. Having an interest in the fashion industry can mean many things. For starters, it can mean just having an eye on the stylish, luxury items, but for others, it could mean to collect the most stylish, rare, and luxurious items. The fashion industry consists of three categories: apparel; footwear; and accessories. For me, I am drawn greatly by the footwear and accessories side of fashion. This interest cum hobby first came to me in early 2016 when a close friend of mine wore an iconic Comme des GarГ§ons heart graphic tee, Y–3 sweatpants and a pair of Adidas NMDs. It was the first time I've ever seen and heard of such brands and it led me to discover the vast majority of brands in the streetwear fashion industry. From there, I discovered about the current icons of Supreme, Off–White, Air Jordans, and many more. After much research and savings, I bought my first pair of Air Jordans, it was nicknamed 'AJ1 Bronze Medal', and it became my favorite shoe ever since. Initially, I did not have plans to purchase more of these products as the thought of just having to spend so much money on such things was just preposterous. • 14. I possess a strong vision for my goal to become a fashion designer that utilizes textiles, visual art and conceptual theory to create works that impact the society. After being let go, I then returned to Vancouver to work Freelance as Print Designer on Patternbank. Finally, I arrived in New York to pursue a Print Designer position at Pink Rose Clothing to be let go again. Meanwhile, I was paving my career path, I was striving in defining my sexuality. This may sound atypical to any other artist, but I am going to explain why my story is unique. My unique first love makes my story different; they once said to me "An artist sees the world in a different way." This resonated as uncanny to me, as I have known the world with my art eyes. It's that love built on friendship, laughter, and connection, which you can never let go. A gay boy won my heart at Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 18. My Interest In Fashion From an early age, I have always had an interest in fashion. It stemmed from the time I spent designing outfits and playing computer games where I would run my own fashion show. I wanted to become a designer, but that was before I learned about technology that can revolutionize the medical field, like CRISPR, which alters genomes, and synthetic cells. Although I now want to become a researcher, I still use my clothes as a daily creative outlet. Clothes give me a chance to choose how I want to be presented to the world. However, as I joined programs like ACE and became more involved in my community, what might have been uncomfortable at first has now become second nature. Now, I have given presentations to audiences of about one hundred people, and I am the Vice President of Lane Buddies. My boots have followed me in my journey of becoming a leader.
