Unit 2 about deaf school
1. Some people believe that it is better for deaf to be educated
in mainstream schools. However, some people believe that
deaf children should have to learning reads can be met.
These are different view and how you think about those
views will depend on the experience that you have with
deaf people and the deaf community.
One reason for believing mainstream is best is because deaf
are able to mix with hearing people. Also, they have access
to hearing people who can teach item English and help to
improve their level of English quality. Mainstream school in
close to the real world.
The opposite view in that deaf children should go to special schools because they have special learning needs.
Because they do not hear, special deaf teachers are needed to support item. Also any problems, they have can
be managed quickly. In special school, specialist technology exists to support deaf students.
I have really two experience of two different school. My first school is mainstream I want there for about 4 or 5
years and then moved to Frank Barnes special school about 3 years. I really experience, what like mainstream in
school.
I have experienced what mainstream school is like. There are hearing and deaf people there. In mainstream
school, deaf people struggle. Because hearing do nor always understand the need of deaf people.
