The school combined its characteristics to open up space in the department
training room to develop students‘ Entrepreneurship base. The school also
provides each entrepreneurial project with 5,000 Yuan start-up capital.
Before Ma Jun joined, the entrepreneurial base team had already bred
various animals, and they were continuously passed down to newer
students.

find out some spider habits. He and his classmates asked the teacher,

In September 2014, at the Summer Davos Forum, Previous Premier
Li Keqiang issued a call for “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”
in public for the first time.
In 2015, “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” was included in
the government work report for the first time.
In March 2015, the General Office of the State Council released
《Guiding Opinions on Developing Maker Spaces to Promote Mass
Innovation and Entrepreneurship》(issued by the State Council
〔2015〕9).
Starting in 2016, all colleges must set up innovation and
entrepreneurship education courses, develop required and elective
courses for all students, and incorporate them into credit management.

1. What is innovation?
Innovation refers to
using existing thinking patterns to propose insights that are different from
conventional or ordinary people's thinking,
using existing knowledge and materials to improve or create in a specific
environment based on ideal needs or to meet social needs,
creating new things, methods, elements, paths, environments, and behaviors that
can achieve certain beneficial effects.

Innovation mainly has the following characteristics:
(1) Innovation is an activity to solve practical problems.
(2) Innovation is breaking tradition and routine.

2. The relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship or Start a business
It refers to the process in which risk-taking entrepreneurs search for and seize
entrepreneurial opportunities, invest their existing skills and knowledge, allocate
relevant resources, create new enterprises, provide products and services to
consumers, and create value and wealth for individuals and society.
The essence of entrepreneurship is to seize opportunities, creatively integrate
resources, innovate, and act quickly.

Economist Schumpeter in his book《Introduction to Economic
Development》proposed:
"Innovation refers to introducing a 'new combination' of new
production factors and conditions into the production system.
It includes 5 situations: introducing a new product, introducing a
new production method, opening up a new market, obtaining a
new supply source of raw materials or semi-finished products,
and a new organizational form.“
In other words, innovation can promote economic development.
Innovation

It can be seen from this that Innovation is the means and
foundation of entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship
is the carrier of innovation. The two complement each
other and cannot be separated.
Successful innovation can achieve a perfect combination of
technology and business for enterprises and can achieve
extensive cooperation inside and outside the enterprise, thereby
creating strategic value.

College student entrepreneurs need innovative awareness, innovative thinking, innovative
skills, and innovative qualities to open up a path to entrepreneurship in a harsh market
environment.
However, the spirit of innovation is not enough. Innovation only provides the possibility
and necessary preparation for entrepreneurial success. If separated from entrepreneurial
practice and lacking certain entrepreneurial capabilities, the innovative spirit will become
water without a source and no foundation of wood.

The significance of the innovative spirit can only be
reflected when applied to practical entrepreneurial
activities, and it is possible to ultimately contribute to
the success of entrepreneurship.
