3. CTRE (Corporate Technical Recognition Event)
Yearly corporate event hosting hundreds of recognized employees from the technical field. Held at the Arizona Biltmore, a
desert palette was used to create a “Nobel Prize” feel. Designs included stationary, welcome letter, recreation cards, dinner
cards as well as a foldable pocket envelope to hold these items. Posters and banners were also created to give the entire
event a consistent look and feel.
4. Logos
Creating a logo to define a company, define a team, or just an idea, is one of the greater challenges for a designer. It may
be the most fun, as well as most difficult thing to conceptualize some ones feel for their own business, and be able to convey
that message with a single graphic, in a matter of seconds.
5. Vehicle Wraps
A Unique Advertising Medium. Businesses need to be remarkable to stand out among their competition. Vehicle wraps
provide a unique way to be remarkable. Depending on how a wrap is designed, it has the capability to turn heads and
get noticed.
We know it takes nine times for people to see your brand for them to remember it, and having the mobile billboard driving
around their city or parked in their neighborhood increases those chances substantially, so make it count.

Working with a motorcycle club consisting of war veterans is always a thrill. They know what they like, and like what they
know, so delivering them designs that make even them excited is a challenge and a pleasure, and a bit patriotic too.
7. Executive Transitions Book (Gifts of Wisdom)
Medium sized carry along book, used as a hand out to new corporate executives. Book contains quotes from former or
present executives offering advice and lessons on what it takes to become a successful leader. Close-up, large photography
of great leaders and famous architecture were used as inspiration as well as instill a feeling of excellence in the reader.
8. Posters, Signs & Banners
Having only split seconds to catch some ones eye as they walk by, designing a poster, sign or banner is a welcome task for
many graphic designers, myself included. “First grab their attention, then let them settle in.” is a good motto when it comes to
designing for large media.
9. Nails by Brenda
Standing out from the crowd is necessary not only in the design industry, but in the nail industry as well. Client wanted a look
that was high class but not overpriced. The business card on far right has an added cut-out feature.
10. Packaging Design
One- and two-color package designs commonly have budgetary constraints, but that should translate into design restraints.
In the case of janitorial products, creating something that is easily understandable, readable and recognizable by the
cleaning staff is a main focus to promote easy reordring.
