Tare the half litre on the balance

Insert cutter bar in the measure

Place filler on top of the measure

Pour grain into the filler

Ensure grain is filled to the top

Remove cutter bar

Re-insert the cutter bar

Remove filler and tip out excess grain

Remove cutter bar

Weigh the grain filled measure

Refer to chart to determine test weight

Empty content and prepare for next measure
