Interferon is antiviral substance that
inhibits viral replication and cell
response to the virus.

 inhibit replication of the virus that attacks the
body's cells

 Gen interferon insert into plasmid(DNA yang
berbentuk melingkar didalam limfosit), after
that cloned into E. coli to produce b-
interferon.

 To kill virus that attack body’s cells
 Increase of body immunity
 To fight of tumor disease

 Difficult to obtain interferon
 Expensive
