• Amazon uses Kiva robots ,automated for picking and packing process at large
warehouses
• The robots are 16 inches tall and weigh 145 kg can run at 5 mph and haul
packages weighing up to 317 kg
• Amazon also uses other types of robots in its warehouses, including large robotic
arms that can move large pallets of Amazon inventory
13. Amazon Prime Air Drone Delivery System
• With vertical take-off and landing skills, and horizontal flight, the Amazon Prime
Air drones are like helicopters
• Topping an altitude of 100 meters and capable of hitting speeds close to 100kph
• The drone will have to return to base after each delivery for recharging
• Deliveries will be tricky if you live in a flat or tower block
• It also knows how to dodge birds
• You will need a helipad in your garden for its landing
