2. Genre The genre which I done was R ‘n’ B as it is a very popular genre even today. Today you have a lot of artist which come out every year which are R ‘n’ B artists. Also I chose this as the target audience are teenagers which is the same age group as me so I know what they would like and not like to see on a music magazine
3. Why flex? The reason I choose the word flex is because it is the language of a teenager, it a slang word for you're doing it It is a very popular word, which I would like my magazine to be very popular
4. Flex front cover The boldest writing on the whole page The images are quite similar in the sense of the position as they are both covering majority and the position of the person on both covers Strap lines on both sides of main image The barcode's are both at the bottom The pug is at the bottom of the page and are both circles
5. Flex contents page I got the idea of writing contents like this as it is like that on my research, so I have put some aspects of my research on my magazine There are strap lines on the same side Image is in the same sort of area on magazine as it is covering about 90% of the page The reason I used this magazines front cover as my research was because I like the fact that there is space for a picture as well as the strap lines and also the fact that it isn't too busy
6. Flex-double page spread The name of the person that the article is about as it is the main focus Images covering one side The writing is again all on one side Quotes from the person who there is an image of Also there is a constant font through out the double page spread except from the name and the quote
7. The magazines above are produced by Jeremy Miller The producers Jeremy Miller and the group Paramore would distribute my magazine as they all have the same genre as mine which is R ‘n’ B/ Hip Hop Produced by a group called Paramore
8. Audience for flex! The audience of my magazine are teenagers. This is because a lot of teenagers are hooked by this type of genre. With my magazine I focused on topics would attract teenagers Teenagers would be hooked to the fact that there is a new solo artist on the block!!
9. How does it reflect the target audience? By the articles which are in the magazine such as teenage drinking and pregnancy which has the highest rate in Britain How does it target your target audience? The genre is more for a teenage audience as alto of teenagers listen to this. Also a lot of R ‘n’ B artist are mainly teenagers
