Senior Software QA Test Manager
Appointed by Director of Software Development, Vice President of DataCenter Management, and CTO of
ENP.
As Sr. Software QA Test Manager, I was responsible for building and leading a new team of professionals to
work with software development to eliminate any major or critical defects uncovered during the testing
phase of the product life cycle while meeting the goals of new product market entry. Paralleled to this
effort was implementing a new test infrastructure and process development for testing methodologies.

FIST QA Engineer: 2000 - 2008
As a FIST QA Engineer, I was responsible to testing software releases within a key customer’s
custom environment to ensure the product could be fully deployed without any customer
production downtime.
2. Key Functions:
Philips Consumer Electronics
• Directly worked with manager on the development of standard FIST processes and
procedures later utilized by all FIST labs
• FIST lead on Philips project responsible for project planning, scheduling and resource
allocation.
• Reduced global customer roll out of new releases from 1 year to 2-4 weeks after FCS.
• Created flow based testcases and procedures to reduce the overlap in required
verification and to ensure full coverage of all technologies and flow variations used
globally by customer.
• Developed automation of the customer’s design process reducing cycle time for full
qualification from 12 man months, to 2 weeks and allowing for multiple iterations during
QA verification cycles.
• Assisted division in understanding impact of new product or functionality on customer
flow.
Alcatel Bell
• Assisted in definition of the initial project planning and developed a roadmap with
customer to model a process that is successfully being used within the Philips project
enabling a quick launch of the lab once a resource was hired.
• Assisted in the review of customer’s training materials and methodology guides used in
the development of a defined PCB flow outline together with the customer that could be
used at the launch of the FIST program at this customer site.
• Worked closely with FIST resource and acted as a mentor for 1.5 years until the resource
was fully trained and learned the QA and FIST processes.
Motorola
• Assisted the FIST resources in understanding and implementing the processes used
successfully at Philips to reduce the required overlap in testcases and verification. This
became known as the Unified Test Plan which enabled them to simultaneously qualify
several flows used by multiple divisions.
SELEX (BAE)
• Assisted FIST resource and customer in understanding relationship between benefit of
automation and relationship between automation and WorkXpert.
Release Management
• Worked with Release Team and CSD during Manufacturing Verification Check to ensure
SDD deliverables were ready to be released for Manufacturing Start.
• Escalated issues to Management for immediate action and resolution to avoid release
delays.
Software QA Engineer: 1999 - 2000
As a Software QA Engineer, I was responsible for testing specific features and new functionality for product
release.
Key Functions:
• Reviewed functional specifications and authored several test plans for new functionality to be
included in software releases.
• Developed test metrics for schematic design tools.
• Assisted in development of QA schedules.
• Assisted in training Customer Support teams on new product functionality.
• Authored TechNotes as a "Knowledge Sharing" activity for both internal training and external
customers.
• Represented MGC during VBDC VBUG monthly conference calls and gave a presentation at User’s
