3. 1. Pre-Filter: The Pre-Filter with its pore size of 5 microns
removes all the sediments, dust and other residual
particles from water. This prevents the RO membrane and
other filters from damage by large particles.
2. Sediment Filter: The Sediment Filter with its pore size of
5 microns removes turbidity, sediments and sand
particles. It acts as a double protection along with Pre-
Filter against large particles.
3. Activated Carbon Filter: The Activated Carbon Filter
removes chlorine, smell, odour and other organic material
from water by the adsorption process. Chlorine removal is
very important at this stage as chlorine damages the RO
Membrane.
4. RO Membrane: The RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane
removes the dissolved impurities, bacteria, virus and
