A Persuasive Presentation
Case 1
In this project you are employed by the Modesto Irrigation District, and you want to create a
PowerPoint presentation to persuade the audience about saving energy (electricity). You will use
the Internet to locate and download suitable photographs for this purpose and create appropriate
slides. Your presentation must contain a “catching introduction” of 5 or more slides with
interesting facts about electricity. The body of your presentation should be at least 10 slides, and
it should convey your point with facts. The conclusion should be no more than 5 slides and must
end with the strong message of “saving energy”. Your presentation should be effective enough to
convince your audience and create an action-reaction from your audience.
General Guidelines
1. No more than one sentence per slide
2. Images must be high resolution (if googleing images remember to filter by “large
images” only
3. Use short, but compiling phrases
4. Use big size fonts. Sans Serif fonts are recommended
You will present your facts to the class next week. Remember to work on your Introduction.
