2. Russell Athletic @ Aggie Fest Week
Russell Athletic , NCAT Athletic Department , Student Government , and the
Aggie Fest Event staff joined forces to host a series of events during Aggie
Fest week.
But all “Aggie Fest” events were canceled due to on campus events.
So , Russell Athletic became the main event of Aggie Fest
Russell Athletic did a “Aggie Fest” Raffle for a Jersey Giveaway.
- April 13th 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Russell Athletic for “U-Time” in the student union.
- April 14th 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Lastly, Russell Athletic Hosted the first “Survey Challenge”.
- April 15th 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
3. Russell Athletic Raffle for Jersey Event
Quick Recap
• Outside the Café April 13th 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Fully engaged in student traffic and had a large number of participants
• Advertised our official Aggie Fest apparel , and showcased winners
• Had different organizations and campaign teams involved to draw
crowd
Results
• Large crowd ( over 400 at least )
• Gained instant followers on interaction ( Gained 80 followers )
• Gave out jerseys to winners & intertwined our raffle with
organizations
Positives
• Great start to “Aggie fest” , Huge Crowd , & People loved our
material
Room for Improvement
• Use a more concrete location
• Ensure safety , with such a big event
4. Russell Athletic @ “U – Time” ( Student Union )
Quick Recap
• In Student Union April 14th 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
• At this point , “Aggie Fest” was canceled . So we were the main event
• Used a great system for raffle to prevent a chaotic crowd
• Results
• Students came to the Union solely for Russell ( over 300 people )
• Awards students from previous events , and hosted new raffle
• Gained 80 new Twitter Followers
• Conducted great event and had ZERO safety issue using excellent
raffle system
Positives
• Great turn out , all students who came out are solid supporters
• People stayed event though “Aggie Fest” was canceled
Room for Improvement
• N/A
• Possibly have more gear
• Overall , best event I have ever ran ( safety and production )
5. Russell Athletic “Survey Challenge”
• Quick Recap
• Twitter event on April 14th 3 pm to 5 pm
• Event was celebrated on campus on April 14th 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• The challenge involved doing the survey for Aggie Fest Gear
• Results
• Projected over 170 Surveys completed
• Astronomical Twitter numbers , 130 new Followers , 100 Mentions ,
40k Twitter Mentions
• Took pictures with winners and had a “Russell Meet & Greet”
• Positives
• Did 170 Surveys in One Day !!
• Had Crazy Twitter Interaction
Room for Improvement
• The people who did not win , were very upset and had negative
comments.
• Try to ensure that the exact number of inventory matches up with
rewards for challenges

8. Russell @ Aggie Fest
Reflection
• Russell was a huge force & only force for Aggie
Fest.
• Russell Raffle events were extremely successful
and it was great for campus bonding and
increasing brand awareness for Russell.
• Russell at U – Time showed the dedication of the
students to receive there gear
• The “Survey Challenge” was my most successful
event numbers wise.
Concerns
• Russell Athletic should have landed a deal with
SGA for purchase but it didn’t happen due to a
lack of planning.
• The “Survey Challenge” was absolutely great , but
it caught a lot of backlash on twitter for those who
did not win.
