thanks for assisting with the case below.
I guess that I had a good support level during all period (from starting to completing rebuild) regardless I talked with
different people within Level 2 team. During critical rebuild I was able to achieve a pretty constant support saving working
time and progressing remotely with rebuild.
Now I have solved issues I had and my PC seems much more stable than before rebuild.
Some residual problems about personal data (backup and restore after rebuild) but I guess that this is out of scope of Level 2
support.

Nicola is an exemplary person with whom I like to work with on a daily basis. He is a hard-working colleague, committed to
work, and incredibly good at multitasking.
His overall capacity, motivation and friendliness are what make him an asset in any position he works in. Nicola is an
outstanding team-worker, always willing to help out his peers with a very positive attitude. What surprises me the most
from him is his capacity to accurately deal with such a huge number of tasks that the L2’s are assigned to do.

I would like to pass along my thanks to all team members assisting on case BW928613 including Nico who assisted me today.
Unfortunately, by laptop crashed, last week, due to an unknown reason. It was quickly determined, by your team, a rebuild
was necessary.
As we all know, a laptop rebuild is a long and involved process. Needless to say, the inability to assist my team, during this
time, impacted critical work requirements.
I spoke with several of your team members, during this rebuild, and I found each one to be extremely knowledgeable, and

Nicola recently helped me with the rebuild of my Webtop 8.1 here in the US. Just wanted to drop you a line to say that he
did really an excellent job. Made me feel at ease about the fact that he would get my system back to working order (I was
quite frazzled at the time to be honest) and staying late to ensure all was set with my machine (6 hours time difference
between where I sit and Barcelona). I really appreciated his knowledge and patience but most importantly making me feel at
ease and re-assured we would get things back to normal so I could resume my work.

As I said to you on the phone, I am really very happy with how you resolved my problem by offering me a temporary
solution. With the sudden loss of my screen, I was extremely stressed as it is my last working day tomorrow before annual
leave and I have back to back calls all day, presentations etc so was in urgent need of access to the intranet, live meeting etc.
Being able to connect my laptop to another monitor at home has given me visibility of the screen and enabled me to work
without any issues until my laptop screen can be fixed. So really very pleased.

Last week I needed help because I lost my internet access when connected to the BT VPN. I had received an error on
Monday saying McAfee found a virus in the BT SIA folder. I could still access the internet if I didn’t connect to the BT VPN. So
I called the helpdesk and they opened a ticket. They tried to fix the problem but could not locate the source. The helpdesk
then decided to try and re-install Integrity firewall. (I previously was using Integrity Flex) The attempts failed due to the files
being corrupt. After 3 phone calls (I would do what they suggested, reboot and then call back if still not working) I was
transferred to Nicola in the level 2 support.Nicola is very capable and knowledgeable of the BT systems and software
installed. He guided me thru installing Integrity from my USB drive. Once that was working I connected to the BT VPN and
then opened Net Meeting. Nic then went right into Internet Explorer and did a reset which resolved the Internet connection
problem. If only the first level support had tried that before removing my Integrity Flex, it would have saved a lot of
time.Now I was operational on the BT VPN with internet access, but had lost my internet access when I am not on the BT
VPN. I am a contractor and need my internet to work in both situations, because I have to connect to my company to make
updates. So Nicola researched the McAfee problem and confirmed the Virus conflict would be resolved by this morning and
asked that I contact him back to complete the re-install of integrity Flex.In about 30 minutes, 3 re-boots – I am now back to
normal. Everything is running correctly and I want to thank Nicola for his help thru this computer issue.

I had issue with my device for several days and was being given a bit of a run-around by the 1st line with the
issue including being sent to talk to BT mobile. Once the fault was passed over to second line I was able to call
2nd line up to get the fault progressed following which - we discussed the issue you spent some investigation the
issue to resolve this which you did. What we found was that I had recently updated my PC to webtop 7 and that
had an effect on my mailbox which meant that my mobile was not setup correctly. Fortunately we were able to get
the remote software working which allowed you to configure my mobile. The device now seems to be working

I found Nicola exemplified many of BT’s Values: Helpful, Trustworthy, and Straightforward – and he was very pleasant to
work with. He answered all my questions and concerns to great satisfaction (especially for a non-technical person like
myself, which needs extra time and explanation vs. someone that is more technically savvy). Nicola resolved my problem
with great efficiency and care.
It would be nice that when we call the help desk and they transfer us to the “Technical Team,” that we could request a
particular person to work with – if we could, I know that I would request to work with Nicola to resolve my case.

I have had the pleasure of Nicola’s assistance for the resolution of 3 incidents in the past 2 weeks that have occurred on my
PC’s. His knowledge of the Windows XP operating system and applications that were needed to restore my operability
played an integral role in allowing me to function within BT’s network.
I just received a new BT Webtop machine that was supposed to be “plug and play” out of the box but I was unable to pull up
my email or access critical BT apps. Nicola had me up and running in minimal time and then assured my laptop was operating
at full capacity.

was in a real panic when the virus appeared and began to interfere with my daily work obligations. Nicola was so courteous,
patient, and professional and worked with me in eliminating the virus and reconfiguring my machine until it was operable for
me to do my job. He seemed to know exactly what to do at the right moment and was so knowledgeable of which programs

Hello,
This email is to provide feedback on Nicola’s work during the last months.
During the initial weeks, Nicola felt a little lost on how to perform his work at start. This was not his fault as there was no
time to do a proper training and induction so that he could perform well his work.
After a couple of week, after spending some time together explaining a bit more in detail what was expected of him and
showing him the tools available for him to work.
After that Nicola always managed independently his work, and as important he showed more motivation to keep the
7migration queue under good level.
What I very much appreciate in Nicola as a colleague is his positive way to communicate. As a team leader and colleague this
is always a big help.

So I called the helpdesk and they opened a ticket. They tried to fix the problem but could not locate the source. The helpdesk then decided to try and re-install Integrity firewall. (I previously was using Integrity Flex) The attempts failed due to the files being corrupt. After 3 phone calls (I would do what they suggested, reboot and then call back if still not working) I was transferred to Nicola in the level 2 support.Nicola is very capable and knowledgeable of the BT systems and software installed. He guided me thru installing Integrity from my USB drive. Once that was working I connected to the BT VPN and then opened Net Meeting. Nic then went right into Internet Explorer and did a reset which resolved the Internet connection problem. If only the first level support had tried that before removing my Integrity Flex, it would have saved a lot of time.Now I was operational on the BT VPN with internet access, but had lost my internet access when I am not on the BT VPN. I am a contractor and need my internet to work in both situations, because I have to connect to my company to make updates. So Nicola researched the McAfee problem and confirmed the Virus conflict would be resolved by this morning and asked that I contact him back to complete the re-install of integrity Flex.In about 30 minutes, 3 re-boots – I am now back to normal.
