RecruitMe
Exchanging info at recruiting events should be easy
so we are designing an app that allows digital
exchange between recruiters and recruitees.
Main Issues
● Recruitees have trouble sharing their resumes quickly with recruiters
● Company recruiters have to print out mountains of paper flyers and chat for
way too long to explain their company
● Companies that simply want to stage a resume drop have to deal with
mountains of paper in the form of resumes
Big issue: Recruitees exchanging their resume
● As a recruitee, exchanging paper resumes to many companies is a problem
● John Doe a software engineer walks up to Amazon hoping for employment
● He unfortunately crumples up the paper while handing it to recruiter
● An attempt is made to photograph the resume for Amazon’s own files but the
crumpled paper blurs out John’s name in the picture
● John now failed his attempt to make a proper introduction at the event
Addressing the resume exchange problem
● When John gets in range of the recruiters booth
● A push notification to share his resume with them
● He can choose to accept or dismiss
● Now he does not have the paper damage problem
