beingsexualisedformalestogaze at her.Thisis

provocative position.
Finally,the male gaze canbe appliedin
thismusicvideotoo.This isbecause all
of the femalesinthe videoserveno
purpose otherthanto be lookedat by
the males;whilstthe malesare all
singinginthe video,the womenare
justwalkingaroundwearingminimal
clothing.
2. In thisadvert,itshowsthe limitationsof the male gaze.This
isbecause thisisactuallya man beingsexualisedforwomen
to displayscopophilia.Thisisbecause itisshowingthe
female gaze orthe homosexual male gaze.
Thisshowsthe limitationsbecauseitshowcasesthatitis
not justfemalesthatare sexualisedinthe media,butmales
too,disprovingthe male gaze theory.

throughout,wearing barelyanyclothingand

disprovesLauraMulvey’stheoryof the male

female andisnotpassive,butinsteadactive as
she istakingcontrol of the situation,withoutthe
helpof the males.Also,she isnotsexualisedas
she isfullyclothedandnot displayingand
provocative behaviour.
