Instructions to register on the book online platform

2. Accessing the Platform
Please follow the next steps to access the free
trial of your new book. You will have free
access to the book for two weeks.
• Use the link below to access Prof.
Valdelomar’s class:
https://connect.mheducation.com/class/n-
valdelomar-ingrese-aqui-1
• You will have to do this for both books, so
please ask each professor for the link.

3. Accessing the Platform
• Enter your email address in the
space provided.
• Use your university account for
this purpose (@ucr.ac.cr).
• Click “Continue”.

4. Accessing the Platform
• In the next page, fill in the
information to create your
account.
• Make sure your password is
different from the one of your
UCR email. Don’t forget it!
• Click the box to agree on
McGraw Hill’s terms.
• Click “Create Account”.

5. Accessing the Platform
• Pay attention to the box
“14-day free access”.
• Click “Access now”.

6. Accessing the Platform
• Write down the date
your free temporary
access expires. Make
sure you buy the
book before that day.
• Click “Confirm”.

8. • The system will automatically
take you to the “To Do” section
of the Menu.
• Click to display the menu.
• Click “Classes” and then
“CURSO”.

9. Accessing the Platform
• You will constantly get a
message like this one.
Click “No” to continue
using the book.
• When you buy the book,
click “Yes, purchase
access” and introduce
your access code.

10. Accessing the Platform
• Now, in the section “Course materials:
Read” you will find a small picture of
the book. Next to it, you will see a link
to access the books. If you click it and
nothing happens, pay attention to a
message like this one:
