2. What is Trapist-1 ?
The trapist-1 is a ultra cool dwarf star, which is
round of 40 light years or we can say 235 trillion
miles away from our home planet i.e the earth.
Seven earth sized exo-planets revolve around this
star. Now the first question in mind is that what
are exo-planets? The answer is that, the planets
which are located outside our solar system are
known as exo-planets.
The star trapist-1 is also a
part of a known constellation i.e the aquarius. It is
a red dwarf star. Its size is somehow larger than
the planet jupiter.
The name of that seven exo-
planets are- T1b, T1c, T1d, T1e, T1f,T1g and T1h.

4. Seven Exo-planets!
As we know that the trapist-1 system consist of
seven earth sized exo-planets and their name
also. So lets read in detail about these exo-
planets.
According to NASA in contrast to
our sun Trapist-1 is ultra cool red dwarf star, it is
so cool that liquid water cannot survive on the
seven exo-planets which are revolving around
this star.
It is very amazing matter that the
planets are so closer to each other and to the
host star that a person standing on the surface
of one planet will be able to see clouds as well

planets as shown in pictures.
Another important thing is that
the orbits of the seven exo-planets are that
closer to the host star i.e Trapist-1 that they
complete the revolution period in very less
time. For example T1b completes the revolution
in 1.51 earth days, T1c completes it in 2.42
earth days, T1d in 4.05 earth days T1e in 6.10
earth days, T1f in 9.21 days, T1g in 12.35 earth
days and T1h in 20.0 earth days.
It is possible that, the the same
side of planet may be facing sun and other
would be facing moon always. If it is like that
then their will be a vas difference between the
atmospheric conditions of earth and the
atmospheric conditions of seven exo-planets.

6. Presence of Liquid Water!
The most interesting thing is that, some exo-
planets of Trapist-1 may have water in liquid state
under right atmospheric conditions.
The Trapist-1 was discovered by
spitzer space telescope. It may be possible that,
the planets T1d andT1e may have liquid water on
their surface. It may be due to right distance from
their host star i.e Trapist-1 and availability of
rocky surface their.
if this will be proved true then
there will be some forms of life.
For this leader of hubble study
and astronomer nikole lewis told that Trapist-1
provides great opportunities in next few decades.
